Smackdowns and a Contest

The weather has turned fall-like; it's raining as I type and snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. Mom is muttering something uncharitable about muddy paw prints, and how we may be sent to daycare until mid-December. She's not serious about that. At least I don't think she is... Hmm...

Anyhoo. My dear sweet sister and I got out and raced around the yard a bit before it started raining.

Good times!

Oh, and speaking of good times, Abby's 'Hippo-Bottomus' name tag won third place in the name tag contest from Fetching Tags so I get a new name tag!!!! Since I have apparently NOT lived up to my 'Dogzilla' expectations. So... Does anyone have any suggestions for a new name tag for me? Every suggestion will be considered! Thanks!

To make this interesting, I am going to hold a contest for my name tag. I am going to invite submissions from now until Sunday, October 17th at 9pm. A winner will then be picked (possibly by popular vote, if Mom can figure out how to do the voting thing) and the individual who submitted the winning name tag line will get a $25 donation to the animal charity of their choice. Please promote this to all your friends - the more submissions the merrier! Put your thinking caps on, and come up with a new tag for me! If you need ideas, Fetching Tags has some popular tag lines to get your creative juices flowing!

Good luck, and may the best tagline win!

Finally, Brutus was saying that a little video might help give him a better sense of the Human Zoomies that Mom and Dad do. Mom and Dad failed to have the camera running during their runs, but lots of people video their runs, and here is a video from the races on Sunday. This guy is a pretty fast driver in a Mazda Miata.

Seriously, this is what Mom and Dad call fun. Heehee. Actually, Mom says it is A LOT of fun, and as much as they do it, I'm inclined to believe her!

For those of you who can't see the video, here is the direct link:

Oops! It's dinnertime. Gotta go. Bye!

You girls sure know how to have fun! That looks like perfect girl time to me! And SNOW is in your forecast?!!? Don't you need to have a slumber party or something?!!? I'd just add a couple more muddy paw prints! Err... actually I guess 4 more...
PS: I think your guess about where our uncle is coming from could be right! It IS very sandy there... :)

Rain? Really? In PC? We remember lots of snow, but not so much the rain.
Looks like you guys know how to have fun anyway! We'll give some thought to a new name tag. Hmmm, hope we don't hurt ourselves :)

Your weather has turned very quickly! Can't believe snow is forecast already! We're having a bit of an Indian summer here - really mild at the moment!

Loved the video by the way!

That most certainly does NOT look like fun. In fact I got a little dizzy just watching the movie.

I was glad that you took your playtime photos before the Hippobottomus got all muddy and Fiona colored. Hard to tell you apart at times. Oops.

Hm. Very interesting. Felt like I was watching one of my dad's video games. If they crash the car, can they just press "restart" like he does BOL?? Thanks for sharing, that was fun to see (including all the smushed cones out there!) But now you've gone and given my mom this crazy idea of mounting a video camera to my back so she can get an "on-board" video of me doing agility!!
