I Went Swimming!

As you may remember, Daisy went swimming a while back, and the plan was for me to go swimming, but then I had the eye surgicals, and Mom had the dental surgicals, and well, finally I had my first swimming adventure yesterday.

Apparently I am a 'senior doggie' (I'm going to be 10 in July - I don't know how that makes me a senior; I mean, Mom is the one getting the letters from AARP, not me!), and apparently as an alleged senior, keeping me active is a good thing.  Duh. Activity is always good.  Anyhoo, as an alleged senior, my swimming included massage as well as swimming!

Like with Daisy, we started off with me getting comfy in the water, and a little massage to get me relaxed.

After a little relaxing, I was floated around the pool, to make sure that I really like water. (I do!)

And then I started swimming. You will notice that at no point was there any paranoid splashing like Daisy did. Of course, I am a seasoned swimmer, and Daisy wasn't.

"Hi nice Angela lady, this is fun!"

After a little swimming, there was a little more massage, because apparently I wasn't using my hind legs much. (I was a little nervous!)

Not nervous now!  And oooh, that's a good spot!
After massage, there was more swimming. And tennis balls!

And massage.  (You sense a theme here, right?)

Lemme at that tennis ball!

Got it!!!
This tennis ball is MINE now!

Still my tennis ball!

I could totally get into this massage thing!

And the swimming thing!

And the massage thing!
Needless to say, I had a great time!  Because Mom wants me to make sure I maintain my svelte figure and hind leggie strength, I will be going to for swimming and massage sessions for a while. I can't wait!

Have a great week!

We Saw the Easter Bunny!

Well, technically, we saw several bunnies today, any of which could have been the Easter Bunny.  But then, there was this Easter Bunny, who is vastly cuter than the other bunnies we saw.  (And yes, I said it - Lucy-Fur is cute. What can I say?)

Heehee. She's too young to know how to avoid the ears. And she is pretty cute!

You will notice that I made sure that Mom understood that I was not interested in wearing bunny ears.

Hey, um, Mom. I love you and all, but I look WAY more stunning this way than with those ornamental ears on my head!
And we all know that Demon Dogs don't DO bunny ears.

It would be sacrilegious for Demon Dogs to wear bunny ears. So there.
I think Daisy is really embracing this whole Demon Dog thing...

Oy. Seriously?!?

Stand down, you Hell Hound!

Isn't this why we got Daisy her own puppy? And speaking of puppies? What is she doing back there?!?
Mom is still recuperating from her adventures in oral surgery, so there aren't as many photos as usual, but rest assured that we are having fun in the nice weather, zooming around!

Crazy pups.

Zoom zoom!
I did, however, take a few moments to look stunning for the camera.

Have a good week!

Nothing New Here

Well, except that Mom has a bunch of extra holes in her head, and has been a dud lately.  Apparently she has had her 'wisdom teeth' removed - which, I guess, means that she's now a blithering idiot.  Although I'm not entirely sure how we are supposed to tell the difference!  Heehee!  Just kidding, Mom!  Anyway, after Mom's surgicals on Friday, she has mostly been sleeping and watching Boston Legal.

Anyhoo....  First, a few big snooter photos Mom took before her surgicals (I'm not sure how wise these photos are, so the presence or absence of the aforementioned teeth doesn't seem to make a difference....).

I look stunning, no matter how much Mom tries to enlarge my snooter.

Lucy-Fur actually has a ginormous snooter, so I'm not sure how much the super snooter shooter lens has enhanced her snooter.

*giggle*snert* Mom says this is what it looks like when Daisy sits on her lap, so maybe the super snooter shooter is capturing life as it is.  Hehee!
Like I said, once Mom had her teeth removed, she became a bit of a dud.  However, she did take us outside once she started feeling a bit better, and the youngsters were zooming around the yard like a bunch of nutters.

Seriously - they do this ALL DAY LONG.

This one has springs in her leggies!

Yep. I am totally glad that Daisy has her own puppy, because otherwise it would be my tail in her mouth.
Of course, just because Daisy and Lucy-Fur have each other doesn't mean that Daisy leaves me entirely alone...

Kid! Go harass your puppy!
While the youngsters are zooming around, I try to get some frisbee time in. If only Mom could actually throw a frisbee...

Mom, it would help if the frisbee was in the air.... Just saying...
But, I most get to avoid the crazy black demon dog....

Does that look like a sane dog to you?  Nope. Of course, she IS a demon dog...
Lucy, meanwhile, has decided that gravity is just a suggestion and not the law.  (Apparently her puppy class never included basic physics...)

She says a cape just slows her down!
Have a great week!

Snow and Name Tags and Stuff

We finally got some snow this weekend!  The youngsters were being SUPER crazy, so I mostly enjoyed dodging the crazy kids while they did miles and miles of zoomies...

Lucy enjoys snow zoomies, and she also enjoys melting on the kitchen floor when she comes back inside...

LOTS of puddles from these snowballs!
For the record, Daisy still can't catch a frisbee - and I'm a little concerned that Lucy is studying Daisy's technique. Clearly I'm going to have to give the wee Muppet some instruction this week!

I can't even watch this!

*sigh*

I can't watch...

Oy. Seriously?
As an aside, if you have noticed that my left eye looks more open than it has, well, that's because it is! The ophthalmologist looked at my eyeball this last week and she said that the surgicals were successful, and I don't need any more surgicals for a while!  Woohoo!

See, look into my eyes!

In other excitement, Mom ordered some new name tags for Daisy and me.  I think they are completely accurate!

Needless to say, I'm not the demon dog! Heehee!
The tag doesn't lie!

We also celebrated Lucy's 9 month birthday this week (within the 7 day celebration window!).  The little lard butt is now 54 lbs!

If you can't read it, her big 'I can' is 'Leap over Daisy in a single bound'.  Which requires a photo explanation...
Yep, a single bound!
And, the usual family photo. I am pretty much hoping to be abducted by aliens at this point...

Heehee!

Have a great week!
