Girls Gone Wild (?)

If we were uber-rich celebrity party girls, this picture would probably be on the cover of every tabloid in the country!

Heehee!

*ahem*

Hey. Um, so in a totally sober moment, we had more snow today. (Yes, Khyra, the weather gods are just doing this to taunt you!) Frankly, we're getting sick of it all.

It is seriously cutting into our hiking and Mom and Dad's biking. ENOUGH ALREADY!!! If we wanted weather like this into May, we'd have moved to some northern province in Canada or something!!!

Oh, and some of you may have noticed that I have started signed comments 'Fiona (and Abby, I guess, since her Big Dog teeth are coming in)'. Don't let this fool you. Just because Abby's getting her Big Dog teeth doesn't mean that she's going to be blogging any time soon. I'm just kind-of, sort-of admitting that she's becoming a bit of a dog-ette (kind of like a dinette, but totally different)...

She's only got one more little canine to lose and then she's all Big Dog teeth! (She wouldn't let Mom get a picture of her little canine...)

And in a final note? We got haircuts yesterday. We haven't really stood still long enough for Mom to get a decent picture, but here we are last night, trying to pretend that we don't want to go run in the mud....

-Fiona (and The Little Monster... I guess. *sigh*)

PeeEss: Mom has started writing her 'fanfics' again. (You probably have to log in, since this is 'adult' stuff. But if you like Harry Potter fanfics, I'm told Mom's stuff is pretty good.)

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! For this one day out of the year, we promise to be well-behaved, not try to steal your dinner/blankets/place in bed/pillows/anything else that you have that we might want. Oh, good grief. We couldn't keep that up for 15 minutes; an entire day is inconceivable!

But we love, you anyway, Mom.

Because, you are the one who lets me sit on your lap during road trips:

And who gets all of us (including Dad!) out on hikes:

And who shares teases us with birthday cake:

And who makes a good pillow!

And who shovels ridiculous amounts of snow so we can have someplace to piddle:

That picture was taken April 6th, BTW!

Our Mom is so wonderful that she allows Puppy Monsters to eat her camera!

And she takes us to Puppy Classes!

But the best thing about Mom? She helped Dad pick out my evil darling little sister, Abby:

And, Mom helped pick me out!!!!

So, thanks for everything, Mom. (Including the dinner we are going to steal from you tonight, and the blankets we are going to steal, chew holes in, and pull out all of the stuffing. Hypothetically, speaking, of course!)

Mud? What Mud?

Given that it is May, the snow goes pretty much as quickly as it comes (except for some piles that are either in the shade, or on north-facing slopes). Which makes Mom complain about mud.

Mud? What mud?

Heehee. Puppy down!

I don't know why Mom says we look like sisters....

Seriously, there is no way that we actually look like sisters....

And don't worry - I'm still showing the Not So Little Monster who's boss!

And the obligatory Animal Planet photo:

Heehee!

It's supposed to be windy tomorrow, but sunny, so I think we'll continue to have mud as our snow keeps melting! Hey, it's good for Mom to mop the kitchen every 20 minutes...

More Snow!

I'm beginning to feel like a broken record (or for those of you youngsters, a broken CD)... More. Snow. Gah!!! Do the weather gods have Any Idea how much this snow is interfering with my hiking schedule? And do they have Any Idea how crazy The Little Monster gets when she's not exercised regularly? Mom says that the weather is supposed to be Much Nicer tomorrow, and we're going to start exploring the 'multi-use trails' in Park City. I sure hope so, because Abby is a total cracker dog when she isn't walked like, 15 miles a day!

Oh, but before I show you some snow pictures (all taken today....*le sigh*), I want to assure everyone that I feel much better. I think I was just sick of Abby. Teehee. Mom was all set to take me to the VET on Saturday morning, but I woke up Saturday and was feeling fine. I'm not sure why I was all lethargic and not hungry and stuff, but when I woke up Saturday morning, I bounded out the back door and put The Little Monster in her place. Mom fed me, and I was all better, and everything was "back to normal" - if you know what I mean.... So Mom decided to 'keep an eye on me' and she was happy with what she saw, so I avoided the VET!

Go me!

Heehee. But speaking of the VET? Mom went to the House With Wheels the other day, and she took Abby, so that Dad and I could have a break from The Beast, and because the VET is like, right next door, Mom decided to stop by and weigh Abby. Now, keep in mind that I am a sleek, streamlined 50lbs. Abby? At 18 weeks, Abby was 37.5 lbs. Hello?!? She's going to be a MONSTER!!!!

*ahem*

But on to the snow pictures.

This was this morning. Mom took us outside, and then went back to bed!

Later, when we all woke up again, Abby and I went out and worked off a little excess energy. Here's Abby attempting to run like a Big Dog:

And then it was time to give her a reason to run! Heehee!

Heehee!

And here's the obligatory 'Wild Kingdom' photo...

Me, posing.
And The Little Monster trying to do snow zoomies with her short little leggies!

Stubby little puppy leggies! Heehee!

Anyhoo, I guess if we can't go hiking, racing around in the snow is good fun. (Although Mom is muttering uncharitable things about mud...)

And if any of you want snow, feel free to come visit - it is supposed to snow on and off all week....

Snow, snow, and more snow

Hi all! Just a quick update from the North Pole northern Utah, where Winter masquerades as Spring, and Summer pretends that it is mid-Winter.

*ahem*

I am not feeling too good today - my stummy is a little upset, and since I didn't eat dinner, and only half-heartedly bit Abby on the butt when we were outside, Mom is going to take me to the V-E-T tomorrow - so I'm looking for a little time away from The Little Monster my dear sweet sister Abby and put up a bloggy post.

Just a couple of things about the last post. We get moose in the yard pretty much every spring and fall. This one was a female - she didn't have a calf with her, so Mom and Dad are guessing that this was a maybe year and a half old female. She looked very healthy for this time of year, which was good. Needless to say, Mom and Dad don't let us out in the yard when there are moose in the yard. Since this one looked like she was ready to settle in, Dad had to go out and tell her that our neighbor's yard was Much More Inviting.

Mom says she has since seen her strolling around the neighborhood - I guess she's looking for a yard that can match ours in comfort and foodables (she seemed to be very interested in our bushes...).

Anyhoo, it has been snow for, um, like EVER. I haven't done much running around today, but yesterday Abby and I went out zooming around in the snow....

Heehee. She's so cute, pretending that's she a fast zoomie dog!

Now this is how it is done, youngster!

She's learning...
Heehee. She's not fast enough. Yet!

Biggify this one to see puppy-jaws of doom!

Here I am, teaching the Little One how to run like a Big Dog!

Happy snow days, everyone!

PeeEss: Yes, these photos really were all taken yesterday. Yes, I know that tomorrow is the beginning of May... While we'd like to be hiking, this snow stuff if pretty fun!

Snowy Days

Mom's keyboard is dying - the 'T' key has fallen off, and she's working really hard in an effort to use 'T' as little as possible. Anyhoo, we had snow yesterday, today, and likely tomorrow. Here are some pics from Wednesday!

TLM is learning the ropes in the snow!

A hard day, indeed!

Oh, and we had a moose in our yard before the snow came!

Snow is falling now, BTW....
