Winter? Spring?

Mom was pulling some pictures off the camera from this last week.  We're a little confused as to what season it is, but it doesn't really matter as long as the frisbees are flying!

Welcome to April in Utah!  (Also known as Mud Season.)

So this is Spring, huh?

Seriously, all these pictures were taken today.

Hi! Thanks for all the kind notes about the flood. All but 2 of the evil fan monsters are gone, and hopefully the last two will be gone tomorrow. They're evil, I tell ya. Big and red and noisy and scary. And we have to walk past them every time we go on a walk. Eesh.

Anyhoo. There's still a bunch of clean-up to do, and Mom and Dad have been busy with stuff, so we're behind in our bloggies. We still love everyone; Mom's just hogging the computer!

But.... we have snow pictures. From today. Really. We got 4 inches of snow today, and it snowed on and off all day. (What will this do for the flood situation? It all depends on how things melt - if we get a ton of rain, or it gets REALLY warm all of a sudden, we might have problems. But today we had a high of 32, which is just fine. We'll keep our paws crossed that the weather cooperates - for us and for all of our friends who are getting hit by thunderstorms and tornadoes!)

Abby and I had lots of fun in the snow. 'Cause bitey-face is ALWAYS better in new snow!

Since it stayed cold all day, we got to play in the snow all day!

Yes, we got in some zoomies!

And yes, Abby sat in the snow.

Teehee.

Happy late April!

More snow!

We got some new snow this morning. It was supposed to be a huge storm, but so far, we just got a little snow in the morning, and then it got sunny. Maybe there will be more snow tomorrow, because this stuff sure is fun!

BTW, I may have inadvertently given the impression that Mom and Dad don't like the snow. Dad just doesn't like have to clear the snow off the 50-bazillion square foot driveway that we have (can you tell that Dad bought the house in summer and wasn't thinking about the snow? yeah...), and Mom doesn't like the zillions of people that come out of the woodwork to go skiing only after it snows, but Mom and Dad actually like the snow. And if you can't tell, we LOVE the snow!

In case you were wondering, this frisbee is MINE. :-)

I hope that the weather-guesser people get it right, and we get some more snow tomorrow, because we used up all the snow we go today!

PeeEss: Mom has been playing around with the settings on the camera, and was quite pleased with the tint on the first so many pictures. The 6th picture is one of her all-time favorites (biggify it and you'll see why - you can see my beautiful brown eyes!). In fact, she keeps muttering something about how next year better have an extra 23 months because she's got so many pictures of me us that she likes! :-D

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all my friends and family throughout the world!

We are SUCH party animals! Heehee!

Actually, we are so NOT party animals. It is currently 5 degrees out (and yes, it's snowing, if you were curious...) with a 10mph wind, making the wind chill something like -137F or something. Mom and Dad went skiing today, and came back after about an hour and a half; apparently it was REALLY COLD on the mountain, and even though the snow was really good, they were too cold to enjoy themselves. Taking the approach that they can ski pretty much whenever they want, they decided to come home to us and save the frostbite for another day.

So, we have no great plans, other than to curl up on the bed and keep Mom and Dad's toes warm!

And go out occasionally for a little bitey-face. (Although Mom is being a bit of a kill-joy, because even all bundled up, she doesn't want to stay outside for a half hour. *sheesh*)

And in case you can't zoom in close enough, here's the important part of that last photo:

Tastes like chicken! Heehee!

Naw, really, I love my big little sister. I mean, with a face like that, how could you not love her?

Crazy puppy. And yes, that was taken today. One year old, and she still looks like a doofus.Heehee.

And just in case you were missing my smiling face...

Finally, here's our tribute to Janus, as we look back on the old year and forward to the new year.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

All we need is Bing Crosby!

Lemme just say, if you want something for Christmas, have Tank pass along your message.

Seriously. He asked Santa for snow for us for Christmas, and the big guy in the red suit has DELIVERED.

It has been snowing for days, and after a brief break is supposed to continue snowing. Thanks, Tank - this is AWESOME!!!

EVERYTHING is better in the snow...

Frisbee time...
Bitey-face...

And, of course, snow zoomies!

Some dogs even seem to think that sitting in the snow is a sport. I think she's just lazy. Heehee. Apparently this is something that Hippobottomuses (Hippobottomi?) do a lot of...

Other than for the complete lack of me in this picture, Mom thinks this would have made a GREAT Christmas card photo.

Dad was a little less enthused, because not only did he have to clear the driveway, and our path in the back yard, but he had to clean off the satellite dish so we could have teevee...

Heehee.

Thanks again, Tank!!! (And thanks to Santa, too!)
