Our Week In Frisbees

Mom had big-time sickies this weekend (she's better now, but we were *thisclose* to taking her to the vet - we don't trust those human doctors...), so no doggie class for us, and no other big excitements.  Thus, we give you our week in frisbees.  You'll notice we started off the week with snow, and ended with mud.

Check out my Jaws of Frisbee Doom!

Lookit our snow!

Welcome to Mud Season!

"Hey Abby!  It's right above you!"

Perfect technique!
Have a good week!

Oue Weekend

Where to start?

Well... Mom decided this weekend would be the Perfect Time to cut our hairs.  Apparently, some of us were getting a little "shaggy".

I have no idea who she could be talking about.

Not me.  It must be Abby she was talking about.

Clearly Abby is the shaggy one.
And it's been quite warm (and all of our snow is melting), so Mom thought "we'd be more comfortable" with hair cuts.

"We're suffering severe snow melt, and you want to add insult to injury by giving us haircuts, too?!?"

So Mom did the whole brushing, bathing, drying thing (at least I got to air-dry this time, as opposed to Mom using her evil air blower thingy that sounds suspiciously like an evil Vacula machine...) and then went straight in to the hair cutting thing.

"Smile all you want, Mom.  You're not the one having her tootsies tickled with a clipper."
Being all energetic-like, Mom groomed both of us in one day.  (Which might explain why Abby looks like she has leprosy.  Ok... Maybe not leprosy - she's just a bit uneven in spots.  But a man on a fast horse wouldn't notice, so why should we care?  Right?!?)

Nekkid doodles.
Once we were sufficiently nekkid, Abby and I went out and wrestled in the mud.  Because seriously, what is better than nekkid doodle mud wrestling?!?

And we wrestled in our diminishing snow because, well, we can!
So now we are all nekkid-like.  And, we might possibly be more comfortable.  But we wouldn't dare tell Mom that and let her think we actually approved of this whole grooming nonsense.  Heehee!

In addition to being made nekkid, we went to doggie class, and did our usual crazy doggie class stuff.

"Hi!  My name's Abby.  I perform circus tricks for cheese."

"Just another sighting of your friendly, neighborhood Fi-ster Bunny!"

"We hope everyone had a great Fi-ster!"
We were guinea pigs for dog trainers-in-training.

And Mom showed that she, too, could be made to perform tricks when bits of cheese were proffered.

So that was our weekend.  How was yours?

What a Difference a Week Makes!

This was us last week.

This is us today.

*sigh*

It has been SUPER warm here lately (so warm that Mom has us scheduled for a spa day on Saturday, as our hairs are too long for 50-60F temperatures), and our snow is almost gone!

Hey Mom, I think it's time to get out the rake and the grass seed!

For the record, this was us on this day last year.

 Zoom-zoom!

Of course, as Mom keeps reminding us, last year we had a ginormous amount of snow that melted really quickly and we had a bottom-floor flood, which really kinda sucked.  So I guess no snow is better than a flooded basement.

Not that that stops us from biteying each other.

And Mom will be able to start cleaning up our yard THIS WEEKEND, so we'll get a jump on the grass this season.  Mom's so excited, I can tell!  Heehee!

PeeEss:  Yes, for those of you who are in to that sort of thing, we will make sure Mom posts nekkid pictures of us when we get back from the spa!
