Just some pictures (and some yammering about Mom)

Mom (finally) went to the doctor yesterday, and she has (say it with me) Yet. Another. Sinus. Infection. You would think she would know better. See, many years ago (7, I think) Mom broke her nose in a ski crash (and as an unrelated side-story, Dad was first on the scene, and got her to re-set her nose right away, which saved Mom having to go through painful surgery later, and now her nose is mostly straight, AND Mom decided that Dad was her knight in shining armor). Anyhoo, apparently there is some sort of connection between broken noses and increased sinus inflammation. And if Mom doesn't get on it right away (she has to take steroids) when her sinuses 'blow up', she gets a sinus infection, and then she has to take all sorts of drugs, and is generally useless when it comes to helping me visit bloggies and put up posts and stuff. So, bear with me; Mom says she is feeling better (although she also says the steroids turn her brain to mush for a few days... and they make her kinda cranky...), but she's not 100% yet. At least she knows in the future to get on the steroids right away and avoid the whole infection/antibiotic/out of commission for a week thing. And she is on the mend, so it's all good. Thanks for your kind wishes for her!

To add to it all, we have a storm on the way, and before the storm we've had warm weather, and today it has been Super Windy, so Mom dropped us off to daycare today. (Something about us barking at every single noise with the wind and her on steroids didn't seem to be a good fit.... I mentioned that she's a wee bit cranky, right? Heehee.)
