Today was Haircut Day. Apparently Mom felt we were getting a bit wooly, and a certain dog (who shall remain nameless, but whose name rhymes with 'crabby') was getting Very Hot on our walks. So, we were whisked into the Box on Wheels (the Jeep) and off to the groomers.
When we came back, we were lean and mean. Well, some of us were mean...

Others of us just came back more beautiful than usual. (So says my Mom, and Mom's don't lie about things like that.)

While some of us wanted to relax after a day at the beauty salon,

others of us seemed to think that bitey-face was in order. (And really, what am I supposed to do when being assaulted by a demonic mutant puppy?)
If you biggify this picture you can see Abby's new tag from Fetching Tags...Anyhoo, Mom and Dad were a little concerned that we might injure one or both of them if we continued bitey-face on the bed, so we moved outside for a little full-body bitey face.
And you can admire our new, sleek, cool haircuts!

But after a while we were way more interested in the people walking down the street, and when people threaten our property (
because you never know when someone who is "innocently" walking down the street will transform into a homicidal chainsaw-wielding maniac) we stop going after each other and prepare to defend the homeland...

Is that a chainsaw we hear? See!?!
Yep, we stick together when the barbarians are at the gate.
Is my backup running for help, or is she just running away? *sigh*At the end of the day, we are still sisters.

And while I understand that these pictures might raise doubts about the demonic nature of my little sister, this should pretty much end any debate.

I think I may have to take up the
Wild Dingo's offer of an exorcist.
