Ho-Hum

Boy, we have such BORING lives. I mean, we are stuck in a rut or something...

Mom and Dad wake up and go bye-sickling. No pictures - they are too busy balancing on two wheels to take pictures....

Then they come back and take us on a hike.

Usually on the hike we stop at The Park With The Pond. Yesterday Mom was marveling at the number of 'soccer mom cars' (Mom's name for any kind of mini-van/SUV thingy) in the parking lot. It turns out that - you guessed it - there was a soccer tournament going on. So I guess Mom's "soccer mom car" call was right on.

And when we are at The Park With The Pond, we go swimming.

Well, some of us go swimming. And by some of us, I mean Abby. Me? I don't want to go in the water; there's a big mutant puppy monster in there...

I prefer to stick closer to land... But I still like to leap in the water!

Usually when we are at The Park With The Pond, we meet other doggies. This "Burned Yeast" doggie (as Mango calls them) was a friendly girl...

Actually, she was a little friendlier than I am used to, but hey, everyone has their own understanding of "personal space", right?

Mom and Dad try to wear Abby out in the pond (good luck... the Mutant Puppy is like the Energizer Bunny Mutant Puppy)

And don't get me wrong. I have a good time at the pond!

I'm just not crazy, like my mutant puppy sister.
Anyway, on days when we don't go to The Park With The Pond, we go to Another Park. And here I totally rule the day.

And while I love my mutant puppy sister (did I mention that Abby is only like 2 pounds lighter than me, and she's only 8 months old?!?), I don't let her get in between me and my tennis ball. Sometimes there's a little 'argy-bargy' (as Phil Liggett would say).

Yes, I won! But it's all in good fun.

And every day, after our Park Adventures, we ALWAYS engage in some good, old-fashioned bitey-face.

And yes, I am The Queen of Bitey-Face, too. Abby may be demonic, but I am The Queen.

Heh.

And we do this Every Day. Every. Single. Day. (Except for when it is raining or something.)

Oh. Wait. You say that not every one does this every day? Oh. Poor, neglected doggies! ;-)

Heehee. I am totally kidding; Abby and I are just super-lucky; Mom and Dad work from home so we get to spend tons of time with them, and we get to do super-fun stuff every day. And no, it's not boring! Heehee!
