In Which Mom Gets all 'Creative'

For those of you who have been perusing Mom's photo blog, you know Mom has been trying out new gadgets and techniques and whatnot.

Being the good dogs that we are (and knowing that Mom always comes to photo shoots armed with treats), we have been quite tolerant of these photographic endeavors.

Yesterday, Mom decided to try out her 'remote shutter release'.  Whatever.  Basically she wanted to sit on the couch with us and get some pictures.  Abby and I, of course, complied.

"Abs, look thrilled.  This is a Fun Family Photo!"
For those of you who know me, you know that I am a bit of a 'kissing bandit' - I love to steal kisses whenever I can.  And this photo session seemed like a perfect opportunity!

Now you don't ever have to wonder where '*kissey face*' came from!  Heehee!  And don't worry - Mom loves to get kisses from me!
A few days ago, Mom decided to try out a 'fisheye adapter'.  I have No Idea what the purpose of this is, other than to possibly make Abby's snooter look even bigger than normal...

As Dexter's Mom said, that is the thing of nightmares!  Talk about Hipposnooterus!

Seriously, why do need photos in which Abby's snooter looks even larger than usual?

I have a petite snooter, and yet this lens even makes my snooter look big.  I don't know about this....
Today, Mom decided to 'play with light'.  Hopefully that's nothing like playing with matches....  *ahem*  As always, there were treats involved, so Abby and I managed to play along.

Yes, I am as sensitive and caring as this photo makes me look.  Thanks, Mom!

Proof that Abby really does have a dark side!  Heehee!
But lest you think our entire week was spent as super-models, do not despair.  In spite of our pathetic weather conditions (we have MUD in our yard; at the beginning of March!  This is just So Wrong.), we have been getting in some outdoor funballs action.

Frisbee action in a snow flurry!

Frisbee zoomies!
This is what most of our weather has been like - very warm and sunny (and mushy snow)!

But the weather conditions don't stop us from having fun!

The Flying Hippobottomus!
With the melting snow, we've been having fun going after snowballs!

"It 'sploded!"

Mini iceberg coming my way!

Mom says this photo reminds her of the old Star Trek episode 'The Doomsday Machine' where this giant machine roams the universe swallowing up solar systems.  She says my mouth looks like the 'gaping maw' of this planet killer.  As usual, I have No Idea what she's talking about, but it's clearly some geeky thing.
We also got in some good frisbee zoomies!  (We have to maintain our girlish figures for our modeling career, you know!)

Crazy puppy!

Double zoomies!

Clearly, Mom is having fun getting these photos!
Of course, Abby spent a little time laying about in the snow (what else is new?!?)...

And we posed for some obligatory snow photos (on the one day this week where we got wet snow that turned into mush almost immediately).

Happy snow dog!

Wet, happy snow dog!
Mom has about a zillion more photos, but you get the idea of what our week has been like!

I agree with Murphy. You guys should hold out for MUCH better know, like steaks! I love the snowball photos! Those are my fave. You could come to KC cuz we got some icky snow today. Fortunately, the weather geeks on tv have no idea what they are talking about or we would have snow over my head (no short jokes from you either!) Have a terrific week!

Glad you girls made the best of the weather. Over my way it has been rain rain and more rain. I am not much for going out in the rain. Give me snow or sun.

The family photos are wonderful. Maybe you could start working on your holiday shoot right now.

I am envious that you can still run on your snow. I can hardly ambulate as every third or fourth step I crash through the top layer. Ouch!

Lovely photos, as always, but the snowball photos are simply amazing! I wish my photographer were as skilled. She can't figure out how to throw the frisbee and take photos at the same time, and most of her photos of me fetching are photos of my legs or back end!

We got snow today too (very usual for us for March) and both mom & dad got snow days (which NEVER happens), so I got in some great snow fun!

I'm a bit of a kissing bandit myself -- but momma loves it!

I like the fisheye lense - it makes it look like you are going fast even when you are just standing!
