In Which We Are Very Busy and Now Very Nekkid

We had a busy week.  We finally got our interwebs back (which was a good thing, as Mom was getting a little twitchy), and Mom spent a ton of time taking photos of us for her pet photography class (so she can learn to take better photos of us, of course!).

For Mom's last class assignment, she though we should all go to the park so she could get some action shots.  We were more than happy to comply!

Seriously, any class assignment that involves us going to the park is a totally awesome assignment!  Mom submitted her photos (these were her submissions, if you are curious - they all had to be in natural light, one inside, one outside and one of the location of her choice).

Her next assignment has to do with 'perspective' - with all that entails.  She has to get a head shot, a 3/4 body shot and a full body shot.  She's contemplating the photos she wants, so we have again been recruited.  Luckily, Mom has a BIG bag of liver treats!

Somewhere in all of this, Mom decided we were a wee bit shaggy and that we needed haircuts.  Something to do with us going on a walkie when it was 34F, precipitating lightly and we were panting from being hot...

So, haircuts we received....

This would be my, "Dad, help me!  Please!" look.  It didn't work.
But when it was all over (there were more liver treats involved, BTW), we were nekkid - and much cooler.

And much more aerodynamical!

I'm not sure if being less aerodynamical would have helped Abby in this case...

However, the haircuts seems to help with the effectiveness of the Doodle Launcher.

And we have a grand time with tennis ball action.  Mom finds this next photo very amusing - something about how she hears the theme from 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' every time she sees it.  Needless to say, we have No Idea What She Is Talking About.  All I know is that much bitey-face ensued shortly after this photo was taken...

Since the haircuts, we have continued to help Mom with her 'perspective' photos.

"These are not the droids you are looking for.  And you want to give me your ham sandwich."

Mom loves this angle.  And I love the liver treats!

Three-quarters of  a dog!
Apparently this is a perspective, too.  I call it a doofus!

Have a great week!

A Short Post

Our interwebs at home have been temporarily interrupted, so while Mom is still taking photos like crazy, she hasn't been able to help us update the world on our goings-on.  However, here is our weekend in an easy to digest form...

Mom took a ton of photos of us for her photography class....  She's still trying to figure out which ones to submit for her homework assignment...

Abby was up to no good (as usual)....

Trying to figure out if she can help herself to Mom's breakfast before Mom notices...

Attempting (and failing) to look remorseful for dashing down the hill to greet a doggie on the street.  (Mom has since gone to Home Depot for fencing and has secured the perimeter.)

Abby putting herself in jail, temporarily.
We got in plenty of tennis ball action (and while Mom didn't put any action shots on her flash drive, there was plenty of action!)

Abby got in plenty of roaching....

And Mom met this rather handsome wolf-Malamute hybrid doggie named Moose.  She kept going on about his eyes.  I have to admit, they are rather striking!

And there you have it - we are alive, just internet-less at home!

Have a great week!

In Which We are Athletes AND Super-Models

Who says Doodles can't do it all?  We had a busy week, with tennis ball action, posing for Mom's 'portrait' photography, and walkies in all sorts of weather.

Needless to say, there was much leaping...

Abby tested out the Doodle Launcher...

She's from the Ministry of Silly Walks, of course!

I think the Doodle Launcher needs a little re-calibration here!
Ah-ha!  Mom seems to have fixed it again!
In addition to the Doodle Launcher, there was more General Leaping.

Yep, I've got Jaws of Doom!
There were also Many Tennis Ball Zoomies!

In addition to our athletic endeavors, we placated Mom with Much Posing.

I pose well with tennis balls!

My goofy sister!

Mom calls this my 'crouching Anubis' pose - something about resembling a statue found in Tutankhamen's tomb: http://www.jewelsglobe.com/wp-content/uploads/anubis-black-mini-YT-5393.jpg

It has rained pretty much all weekend, which didn't stop us going on walkies.  Check out Mom's Highly Stylish Inclement Weather Gear (we didn't have any choice - it's not our fault our Mom dresses us funny)....

Mom is all about 'being visible' when walking in the rain.  We received many treats giving permission to allow this photo to be posted on the interwebs.
In spite of our highly stylish coats, we got a tad damp.

Since Mom didn't want to get her camera all wet, she used the storms to take 'portrait' photos of us.

Abby is a LONG dog!

Treat?!?  Yes, I'll have several, please!

Abby sucking up to Mom for treats.  For the record, it works.
It was a tiring week!

Have a great week!
