A Week of Tennis Ball Action

We were perusing the photos Mom got of us this week, and 99% of them were tennis ball photos.  Not that we are complaining.  A week of tennis ball action is a good week!  And yes, this post is photo-intensive and light on words - blame Mom.  Something about "having to sort through a zillion photos".  Whatever.

There was some juggling...

And some crazy lunging...

And there were grand leaps!

And many, many zoomies!

As you can see, it was a most fantabulous week!  And we were Very, Very Happy about it!

Yep, it was a great week!

We're Nekkid!

Oh, the Google searches that will find their way here...  *ahem*

But nekkid, we are.  Mom decided we were 'too hot' and needed haircuts.  We're wondering why we didn't get a vote in this...  Mom broke out the clippers and we were tortured had a spa day on Saturday.

Here are some 'before' photos:

Shaggy?  Who says I'm shaggy?

Abby is shaggy.  She's also looking a little surly there - no doubt Mom is a bit slow on the treat delivery.

Abby is shifty-eyed here.  Me?  I'm just a tad damp.  But definitely not shaggy....
Mom, however, didn't listen to our protests that we were Just Fine and Not Shaggy.

Yes, Abby is giving the camera the Glare of Doom!
When it was all said and done, we were nekkid.

And this is what Abby had to say about the whole grooming thing!

Okay, Mom.  We are much cooler, and vastly more aerodynamic, so start throwing that tennis ball!
And we are definitely more aerodynamic!

Oh yeah!!!
And truth be told, once the actual grooming was done, we were very happy to be free of that extra hair!

So as they say, all's well that ends well!

As for the rest of the week... Mom had one of her long days, so she went to the Fort Douglas Military Museum and took a bunch of photos of helicopters and then we had some rainy days, so Mom got some indoor photos of us.  And we got a chance to take our 'revenge' on the tree rats that Mom has been so keen on photographing as of late.

And Mom got a photo of us posing on the couch...

Which led Dexter's Mom to suggest that there should be word bubbles much like Dennis and Tucker used to do when they hung out on their sofa....  So here is Mom's best attempt at a Dennis-like couch photo (just remember, Dennis, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?!?)

On that note, have a great week!
