It's HOT....
It's hot. Today it is 90 degrees. For those of us who live in the mountains and don't have central air conditioning, that's Really Hot. And I'm getting a little wooly. So Mom says no more hikes until after I get 'summerized' tomorrow afternoon. She says if I'm panting just lying in the kitchen, I probably would be pretty hot on the trail. So, I'm going to go short for summer!

Good for you!!! Napping in the heat of the day with your belly up is good way to cool off. Maybe, just maybe you can talk your humans into getting you a pool. They are great even if you just stand in them to cool your feet or stick your face and nose in the water to cool that too.

Fiona, your Mom is very smart. We had a young dog die in our neighborhood this week from being overheated and overexerted. Don't forget your water bottle when you go hiking.

That does sound hot and we dogs do need to be careful in the heat.
Recently in the UK two police dogs died whilst left in a car - can you imagine any human being so silly - especially one who is a dog trainer!!
A hair cut sounds good - and perhaps you should have a paddling pool like Lorenza and Mango - that way you could step in to cool down whenever you wanted.
