In Which All Sorts of Exciting Things Happen

Or possibly not... But More of The Same isn't always a bad thing.

The only Different Than Usual event of the week was that Mom decided to give us haircuts.  Something about us being woolly.  And something about Abby having floofy pantyloons to the point that Khyra, Miss Floofy Tail herself, would have been impressed.  Because Mom was all busy with the grooming, there are no 'action' shots, but here are our 'after' shots.

Now we are all neat and non-shaggy faced (for now).

Mom's latest photographic entertainment has been getting photos of us catching squeaky balls.  We are all for this, as catching squeaky balls is one of those activities you can never get too much of.  For those of you who glance through Mom's photo blog, you may recognize some of these photos.  To say she's pleased with them would be a bit of an understatement.

Abby, watch and learn!

Incoming!

Might Jaws of Doom!

Mom says I'm part baby bird and part Great White shark.  I have No Idea what she's talking about.

Mrmmph.

This is what the Brits (or at least Phil Liggett) call 'argy-bargy'.

Yep, I've got perfect form!

Abby is a bit more goofy looking, but she gets the job done. (This photo illustrates why we 'needed' hair cuts - or so says Mom.)
We also got to catch some snowballs - and we are currently getting a little more snow, so hopefully there will be more snowball catching in our future!

And we posed for some 'artsy' photos for Mom, too.

We also went on a lot of walkies and caught a lot of frisbees.  So, our week was pretty much More of The Same.  But like I said before, that's not a bad thing!

The Week In Review

We had frisbee action.

Doodle Lake rehearsals continue despite the uncooperative weather!

We went to doggie class

We are masters of 'sit'!

Abby got to be a mountain climber.

We posed.

We sat for treats (Jessi is the Most Excellent giver of treats!)

I posed as a Lady of Leisure in Bed Bath & Beyond!

I played dress-up.

Abby played dress-up.

I checked out spring floral-wear.

Abby and I are getting an early start on our Kentucky Derby fashions!

And we posed for a lot of photos to amuse Mom.

The all-seeing eye!
And there you have it; that's our week!

Our Snow is VANISHING!

We thought our snow was thin last year, but this year is even worse!  And yes, I know everyone east of Colorado would be More Than Happy to trade winters with us; we're not trying to drool in your kibble, we are just amazed at how little snow we got this winter, and how quickly it has melted.  Mom and Dad even broke out the bye-sickles today, since their cross-country track has pretty much become a golf course again...

So, we ask the question posed by generations of folk singers:  Where have all the snowflakes gone?

"Gone to slushballs, every one..."
We have had a few snow flurries here and there, but this time of year, the snow doesn't stay long, so our yard is becoming a bit 'mushy'.

Note the big patches of no snow!

And even bigger patches of no snow...
But we are still managing to have fun!

We have also been humoring Mom in her photographic endeavors...

I'm being all dramatic-like!

Mom was playing around with two flashes and got some nifty pictures - she even managed to make Abby look innocent!

Abby, in the dark - nothing new there!  Heehee!

A mug shot?  Really?  What did I do?  You really should be talking to Abby...

"Hi Mom!"

Why, yes, that is a bit of slobber.  Mom was using particularly tasty bribes!
Well, we have been mostly cooperating.  Mom thought she'd get some 'St. Patrick's Day' photos.  Yuh.  We were seriously not interested.

"Really?  Seriously, Mom?  We love you, but any holiday that celebrates leprechauns is just weird."

*heavy sigh*
But when the torture photo shoot finally ended, Abby managed to find the pot of gold bag of treats!  And she shared!  Yum!

Have a great week!
