We Are Still Around

Our friend Cookie left us a note a little while ago asking if we were still alive (or something to that effect), and so we have urged Mom to take a few minutes break from editing photos of other doggies wearing antlers (hey, better them than us!) to let our friends in Blogville know that we are still alive!

Mom says she is in the middle of her busy season with photography (apparently there are lots of people who think their pets want to wear antlers - and apparently there are some doggies out there that don't seem to mind wearing antlers!) and our bloggie has taken a backseat to Mom being all busy.

But here are a few photos of us playing in the yard (and noticeably NOT wearing antlers!) so you don't have to worry about us being neglected!

In addition to photographing doggies in antlers, Mom has also been photographing orphan doggies at the Salt Lake County animal shelter, so she has been busy!  And we're not neglected, so if you don't hear from us for a while, don't worry - Mom is working hard so she can buy more camera equipment snacks for us!

BTW, all three doggies here (and many more from this same photo shoot) have been adopted!  Woohoo!

All Sorts of Changes

Fall is here (well, Fall is pretty much here and gone; the red leaves are all gone, and now just the oak leaves and the aspens have yet to fall, which means Mom isn't done raking yet!  Although Mom is hoping that we get enough snow before she has to rake up the leaves!).  Winter is on its way - we hope.  Last year was a pretty sorry excuse for a winter, and while it made Mom's commute easier, it made for terrible snow zoomies.

Anyhoo, the weather is definitely changing, so Mom took some time to get some photos of us in the Fall grasses.

The biggest change, however, is that Jessi, the turkey hotdog lady, is moving back to Dela-where (prompting Mom to break out all sorts of Delaware-related jokes that she's held on to for decades...).  We have a going away doggie class with Jessi, in which many treats were dispensed, and we pretended to behave one final time.

Abby is miffed that I'm getting all the attention!

No one will notice if we "borrow" this big bag of candy, will they?!?

Ever notice how EVERYONE has to use the death grip on Abby?
As a going-away present, Mom put together a photo book for Jessi with highlights from all the years of us being dedicated students.

Abby's first puppy class.  She was a suck-up even then!

We crate-trained Mom!  This was a big day for us!

Yuh, the bunny ears were not such a big day...

Abby continued to be a suck-up even as she got bigger!

At least Jessi knew what books would catch Abby's interest.

When I had my surgicals last year, Abby and Jessi went bobsledding!
Doggie class wasn't just about Abby; we did duets quite often together.

And I had my own moments of Being Very Brave!

Check out my balance!

And my ladder-climbing skills!
Abby and I both enjoyed a lot of dress-up with Jessi!

Jessi, thank you for all the fun over the years!  We are really going to miss you!  We hope you come back and visit.  (And bring snacks!)

Fall is Here

Fall is Most Definitely here; the leaves are changing colors, the temperatures are cooling off, and we are having a grand time frolicking in the yard.  Mom says she's "too tired" to help us write a clever blog post, so just enjoy the pictures, and trust me when I say we are having fun, Abby is doing well (last round of chemo next week!), and all is good!

Have a great week!
