'Tis the Season for Sisterly Love

Being Crosby managed a White Christmas for us, and as you all know by know (or should know), is that bitey-face is better in the snow.

Personally, I'd be happy to let the youngsters battle it out while I chase frisbees, but Daisy had the temerity to attempt to Steal. My. Frisbee.

Yuh,  I think not.  Time to show the Black Demon who is boss around here!

Lucy, watch and learn.  You are going to need to learn how to take out the demon dog.

The ear-pull is always a classic!

As is the collar-grab.  I think Lucy finally figured out that she should be paying attention...

Making lots of noise always helps throw one's opponent off balance a bit.

Of course, bitey-ing the leggies helps to throw them off balance, too! Heehee!

While I don't always bitey-face these days, when I do, I like to make sure everyone knows I'm still as good as I ever was!
Yep, I still got it!
And yes, I did catch this one!
Lucy-fur is still learning the broad strokes of outdoor bitey-face (she does quite well indoors)...

Yeah, this might *not* be the best approach, Little-Fur.

Seriously, kid, this is probably not going to work out well for you. But I applaud your moxie.

Yeah.... I kinda had a feeling this was how that was going to end. But it was a good attempt, Lucy-Fur.  Let's chat in private and I'll give you a few pointers.
While Lucy has a ways to go in tackling Daisy, she has truly mastered the art of Looking Cute in the Snow.  Yes, I'll admit it; Lucy-Fur is a cutie.  In fact, one might even go so far as to say she's a cute little devil! Heehee!

She collects a lot of snowballs on her floofs!

Yeah, that's pretty darn cute.

Get this kid a snorkel!
And finally, Daisy and I have both been fighting the law of gravity - and winning!

Wheee!

I don't even need a cape!
Mom works the next two days (something about saving up vacation days so she can take a week off and help wear Daisy out while Lucy recovers from being spayed in February), but then she's got another 4 day weekend starting Friday, so look forward to more photos!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

And by that I mean the time of year where I'm not the one wearing antlers or an elf hat!  Heehee!

Sorry, Daisy, I don't think this is going to save you from the Naughty list!

Lucy, when you reach my venerable age, you probably won't have to put up with this!

Heehee!

In addition to it being the time of year where I don't have to wear the elf hat and antlers, it is also the time to celebrate new snow!

Which means SNOW ZOOMIES!

There's no zoomies like snow zoomies!

Zoom zoom!

BTW,  because Daisy can be a bit of a pain in the rumpus, Mom gives me some one-on-one frisbee time!

Lucy-Fur is figuring out the whole snow zoomies thing, too!

And, the youngsters are having fun, too!
Lucy-Fur and Daisy have finally figured out the frisbee tug-of-war thing, too!

Heehee. I have a feeling that in a couple of months, Daisy is going to have her hands full!

Lucy-Fur isn't quite as big as she looks - she's got a lot of fluff, too!
It's a good thing Lucy-Fur is keeping Daisy occupied, because if Daisy keeps up this kind of behavior, she's going to be on the Permanently Naughty list!

*sigh*  The things I have to put up with...

In addition to figuring out snow zoomies (well, sort of...),

She might be stuck...
Lucy turned 6 months old on the 13th.  She's becoming quite a lunker!

She's not too bad when she's under Daisy's influence!

Yep, she's 45.4 lbs - so it's not ALL floof!

*sigh*
Before I sign off, I have a note for Santa...

Dear Santa,
As usual, your cookies aren't going to survive until you visit tonight. However, I'm really glad that Mom was able to talk to you in person yesterday at the doggie photo fundraiser thingy and explain about the cookies. I mean, you wouldn't like those salmon bars anyway, right? And in my defense, I did take at least some of the blame, and didn't totally blame it on Daisy and Lucy-Fur.  Anyway, thanks for understanding!
-Fiona

I really can't help myself about the cookies - they really were quite tasty!

Happy holidays to everyone!

Somedoggie is Getting Coal in her Stocking

(Or possible Smarties.... And don't worry if that means nothing to most of you - it's an inside joke involving how Mom and Granny and Grandpa try to 'out-do' each other at Christmas with horrible, expired candy...)

But seriously, SOMEdoggie is getting coal in her stocking, and it isn't me!

Seriously? Apparently she hasn't figured out that I've got Santa on speed dial, and she's going straight on the Naughty list!
I even had to show the Black Demon Dog (apparently if we have Lucy-fur in the house, she has to have a demon side-kick...) who is in charge....

Daisy, get out of my face!!!
At least the youngsters and harassing each other more and more...

And, the kids have clearly been looking at the old photos of me and Abby with our frisbee antics...

Oh, and in case you had any doubt about Daisy's status with Santa, here is the annual Christmas photo.  Bandanas don't lie!

In case you can't read Lucy-Fur's bandana, it says 'Pending'.  I have a feeling next year we are going to need 'Naughty' and 'Naughtier' bandanas.... Just saying...
Stay tuned for Lucy-Fur's six month photos - also known as The Monthly Invasion of My Couch.
