A Few Photos

Mom has been busy with a bunch of stuff lately, but luckily some of that 'being busy' time has involved taking photos of us!

One of the things Mom has been trying to get has been some hiking photos for her 'explore Park City' photo package that she's trying to flesh out for her business.  It has been stupidly hot here (even as nekkid doodles, it's HOT!) and Mom can't manage both of us and the camera on the hiking trails all at once, so Abby has been recruited to be the model.  (You won't hear me complaining - I can stay home in the air conditioned bedroom with Dad!)  Mom has had to keep the photo sessions short, but she got a couple today that she thinks she can use to promote the package.  (The next step is to get some more photos around Park City, like on Main Street, and at the White Barn, and stuff - possibly with doggies that aren't us!)

Doodle in the Wild!

Mom also had us model some capes that she uses for the shelter dogs (and has prompted Mom to think about maybe doing some photobooth shoots at the Salt Lake City Farmer's Market next year - something else possibly to be added to the business calendar - she's still figuring out whether it will work or not!)

This is the Super Girl cape.  Abby nudged in before Mom could move the cape around so you could see the logo. But trust me - I'm a Super Dog!

Dorkadoodle, wanting to be Captain America!
Abby also nudged in for some nekkid photos.  (She's SUCH a camera hog!)

We have also been chasing lots of tennis balls (in short bursts, because, if I haven't mentioned it, it's HOT!).

Mom thinks she's found the evolutionary Missing Link!

I think Abby is just missing a link or two!  Heehee!

Scary face here!

See!  I told you! Scary face!

Abby probably didn't want this photo to make it to the interwebs, but since I control what gets posted, and it cracks me up, the world gets to see my sister not being a super athlete all the time!
But most of the time, Abby really is a super athlete!  (And Mom says she's always happy to see Ms. "Walking Advertisement for Pet Insurance" to go flying through the air!)

Is it me, or is she looking at the camera while flying through the air?

This photo prompts Mom to say something about the Rapture.  I have No Idea what she is talking about!
But don't think this is the All Abby Show.  I had plenty of tennis ball funballs times, too!

Yes, I like my new collar. Now throw the tennis ball, already, Mom!
Have a great week, and we hope everyone is managing to stay cool, in attitude if not in temperature!

All Sorts of Excitement

While you might think that we are aren't blogging because Mom is lazy, you would be right we have actually been quite busy!

First, last week was my birthday!  Last Sunday I turned 8 years young, and celebrated it with a trip to the Magic Cheeseburger Window, and, of course, the dreaded birthday hats....

If you must...

Can we go to the Magic Cheeseburger Window now, please?!?
Don't worry - we really did get to the Magic Cheeseburger Window!

However, Mom said we were "getting shaggy."  I have No Idea what she's talking about.

Shaggy? Who are you calling shaggy?!?

Ah, you must mean Abby.  She's definitely shaggy!
As much as we protested, Mom insisted on cutting our hair. Okay, so it has been hot here, and we've been a little warm, but stealing our fur?  *sigh* The things we do to keep our Mom happy....

I look quite stunning with my new haircut...

Abby, on the other hand, now has a ginormous snooter!
Yes, you DO have a big snooter!

In Abby's defense, Mom was using her make-the-snooters-look-huge wide-angle lens.  But Abby's snooter is still big!

But we are much more aerodynamic without the extra furs.

Look at my amazing Jaws of Doom!

Yep, Mom is playing around with her wide-angle lens again!

After chasing tennis balls, I like to sit in the shade and chew on the tennis balls.

Abby, on the other hand, likes to roll around in the freshly cut grass, with her freshly cut hair.  Silly girl!

Have a great week!

Happy 4th of July!

Mom says we weren't cooperating, but we say that as a professional, Mom should be able to herd us into position. Mom then said she usually has some sort of assistant when she is getting paid. We suggested she get Dad to assist her, but she said something about how it was still really early and Dad might like to sleep a bit.  We then told Mom to take the photos before we completely lost interest! Heehee!

Happy 4th of July!

Nope. Not cooperating any more!

BTW, for those of you who are curious (Grandpa, we are looking at you!) the yellow light on my belly is actually the morning sun!  Mom was playing around with her outdoor strobe with portable battery pack!

Have a great holiday!
