A Quickie

Mom bought some new lenses for her camera (a full-frame 28mm and a full-frame 50mm - apparently her older 50mm wasn't a full-frame - whatever any of that means), and while she's busy with animal shelter photos and stuff, she did find time to get a few photos of us.

She used the 50mm when I was swimming; yet again it was cold and Mom-the-wuss didn't want to get in the water with me, so she looked down from above....

Angela make me swim in circles a lot. Apparently it makes my leggies strong - and I don't get dizzy, either!

Oh yeah! Massage is The Best!
Mom says she can see my leggies working in the pool!

She took out the 28mm lens just about the time Daisy decided to go after me. Do you see the crazy eyes on that black dog?  (BTW, I guess Mom is pretty happy with the lens - I mean, Daisy's crazy eyes ARE pretty sharp and in focus...)

And Mom dragged us out this morning for some sunrise photos. But it was pretty cold out there (11F), so we went out one at a time, and Mom didn't really get a killer sunrise, but she seemed to have fun, and we were well-rewarded for our time, so I guess we were all winners! (You can see from the amount of sun that Daisy went out first, then Lucy-Fur, then me!)

Shockingly, she doesn't look crazy here.  Well, not too crazy.

Fluffer-nutter just wanted snacks
Me? I'm an old pro at this!
Have a great week - Mom has to get back to animal shelter photos!

All Sorts of Funballs Times!

We have been getting more snow - which makes us happy (Dad, maybe a bit less happy, although he does get to play with his snowblower a lot, so you'd think he'd be having fun, too!).

And as we all know, there's no zoomies like snow zoomies!

Hi Mom!

The wee blonde one can't catch, but she looks good carrying a frisbee!

More use of the anti-gravity field!

Of course, with snow zoomies, there is also snow bitey-face.

Look at those teeth!!!

Seriously. Those teeth! Break out the silver bullets. Or call Van Helsing!

And there is general craziness!

Of course, there is also time for serious photos.

Yes, I am regal. Do you have any Grey Poupon?

I think she's glaring at Mom!

Mom also broke out the Super Snooter Shooter because, well, it amuses her.

"It's time to start the music, it's time to light the lights... on the most sensational, inspirational, muppetational... this is what we call the Muppet Show!!!"

Yes Mom, I would like that snack.

And that snack, too, please.
In additional to all the funballs times in the backyard, we've been going on lots of walkies with Mom and Dad.

Frosty trees!

We have a lot of snow in our driveway!
In addition to the snow in the driveway, the roads in the neighborhood have become very narrow with all the snow...

And the youngsters spent some time watching Mom labor on our behalf (in all fairness, I was probably snoozing on the couch...).  Mom is amused that Daisy (who, if you recall, had a mind-meld with Abby, ala Star Trek III The Search for Spock, before Abby crossed the Bridge) likes hanging out in Abby's old spot on the stairs - and that Abby is keeping an eye on the kids!

Have a great week!

Fiona Frisbee Time

Bonus post!

When Mom got home from work there was still some sun in the backyard, and even though it was a bit nippy, I was all bouncy.  Of course, Daisy thought (as usual) that when I'm bouncy, I want her to pounce on me....

"Hey! This is MY Frisbee"

"Mom, help. Please. I want to chase Frisbees and Demon Dog wants to chase me."

"Seriously, Black Demon Dog, not cool. Totally not cool."

"Mom, I need some Quality Fiona Time"
I gave Mom my bestest soulful stare, and she herded the youngsters inside so she and I could have some together time.  Mom needs to learn to throw a Frisbee again, but it was still fun!  In all honesty, I wasn't entirely convinced the youngsters weren't going to pop out again, so I wasn't completely letting loose. But I had fun - and I didn't get attackled!

Yep. I went face-first into the snow for that Frisbee!

All that swimming is keeping me nice and limber!

Oooh, look at me catching some of that 'alpen-glow'!

Wheee!

*sproing!
Seriously, Frisbee time without the crazy kids interfering is AWESOME!

Thanks Mom! Let's do this again sometime soon!
Yep! Mom knows what I need!
