Nothing New Here

Well, except that Mom has a bunch of extra holes in her head, and has been a dud lately.  Apparently she has had her 'wisdom teeth' removed - which, I guess, means that she's now a blithering idiot.  Although I'm not entirely sure how we are supposed to tell the difference!  Heehee!  Just kidding, Mom!  Anyway, after Mom's surgicals on Friday, she has mostly been sleeping and watching Boston Legal.

Anyhoo....  First, a few big snooter photos Mom took before her surgicals (I'm not sure how wise these photos are, so the presence or absence of the aforementioned teeth doesn't seem to make a difference....).

I look stunning, no matter how much Mom tries to enlarge my snooter.

Lucy-Fur actually has a ginormous snooter, so I'm not sure how much the super snooter shooter lens has enhanced her snooter.

*giggle*snert* Mom says this is what it looks like when Daisy sits on her lap, so maybe the super snooter shooter is capturing life as it is.  Hehee!
Like I said, once Mom had her teeth removed, she became a bit of a dud.  However, she did take us outside once she started feeling a bit better, and the youngsters were zooming around the yard like a bunch of nutters.

Seriously - they do this ALL DAY LONG.

This one has springs in her leggies!

Yep. I am totally glad that Daisy has her own puppy, because otherwise it would be my tail in her mouth.
Of course, just because Daisy and Lucy-Fur have each other doesn't mean that Daisy leaves me entirely alone...

Kid! Go harass your puppy!
While the youngsters are zooming around, I try to get some frisbee time in. If only Mom could actually throw a frisbee...

Mom, it would help if the frisbee was in the air.... Just saying...
But, I most get to avoid the crazy black demon dog....

Does that look like a sane dog to you?  Nope. Of course, she IS a demon dog...
Lucy, meanwhile, has decided that gravity is just a suggestion and not the law.  (Apparently her puppy class never included basic physics...)

She says a cape just slows her down!
Have a great week!

Snow and Name Tags and Stuff

We finally got some snow this weekend!  The youngsters were being SUPER crazy, so I mostly enjoyed dodging the crazy kids while they did miles and miles of zoomies...

Lucy enjoys snow zoomies, and she also enjoys melting on the kitchen floor when she comes back inside...

LOTS of puddles from these snowballs!
For the record, Daisy still can't catch a frisbee - and I'm a little concerned that Lucy is studying Daisy's technique. Clearly I'm going to have to give the wee Muppet some instruction this week!

I can't even watch this!

*sigh*

I can't watch...

Oy. Seriously?
As an aside, if you have noticed that my left eye looks more open than it has, well, that's because it is! The ophthalmologist looked at my eyeball this last week and she said that the surgicals were successful, and I don't need any more surgicals for a while!  Woohoo!

See, look into my eyes!

In other excitement, Mom ordered some new name tags for Daisy and me.  I think they are completely accurate!

Needless to say, I'm not the demon dog! Heehee!
The tag doesn't lie!

We also celebrated Lucy's 9 month birthday this week (within the 7 day celebration window!).  The little lard butt is now 54 lbs!

If you can't read it, her big 'I can' is 'Leap over Daisy in a single bound'.  Which requires a photo explanation...
Yep, a single bound!
And, the usual family photo. I am pretty much hoping to be abducted by aliens at this point...

Heehee!

Have a great week!

More Snow and Haircuts and Stuff

Sooooo... Since the last bloggie post, I've had my eye surgicals and I feel fine. I go back in a couple of weeks for the ophthalmologist vet to see if she got everything,  but I feel good.  Because of the eye surgicals, however, I had to skip the planned spa day.  The youngsters went and got bathed and groomed and stuff while I got to spend quality time at home.

I might be a little shaggy, but I wear it well!
The youngsters have that new dog smell!

We got snow last night/today, so the youngsters have had the opportunity to try to get some of that new dog smell off themselves!

They also seem to be a bit more aerodynamic!

With the new snow, we seem to be suffering from a frisbee shortage, as can be seen by all of us going after the same frisbee!

And then Daisy attempted to steal the frisbee that I retrieved!

But Daisy seems to be big on trying to steal frisbees from people....

However, she's not very good at it - I had to give a clinic on frisbee tug-of-war.

Needless to say, I won.
Daisy even tried to interfere with that - but being The Big Dog, I was able to handle tug-of-war AND being attackled by Crazy Daisy!

I think Daisy is just jealous of my frisbee catching skills....

Nope, she didn't catch it.
Even with one eye surgicals, I can catch frisbees!
And here are a few random photos to tide you over until next week!

Have a great week!
