Halloween Costumes

I am WAY too dignified a doggie to put with this Halloween nonsense.  However, everyone does have their price, and I will admit that for some mighty tasty duck snacks I can be bribed to share my couch with the crazy youngsters...

At least Mom acknowledges that I AM Wonder Woman for allowing the youngsters to be on my couch!
Lucy clearly had no idea what was going on with the whole super hero cape thing, and Mom debated between pulling out Daisy's ghost costume from last year (see below), before deciding on a witch's hat.

Lucy really has no idea how lucky she is.  I mean, she could have been a stand-in for Charlie Brown...

Daisy last year, when she was young and pliable... Sort of...
As you can see, Mom isn't really hip to this whole Halloween costume thing.  However, this last weekend she photographed a bunch of smoosh-faced doggies (aka French Bulldogs) whose parents were totally into the the Halloween thing.  Here are a few of Mom's favorites.

This was Mom's favorite - a "French" Frenchie, complete with beret!

Mom rather liked this one, too - this doggie was a sushi, complete with wasabi and ginger on her seaweed nori!

And really, who doesn't love a slightly crazed looking Darth Vader/

Scary clown and non-Frenchie sailor with her own boat!
Which, of course, brings us to the classic Jaws quote, "We're gonna need a bigger boat!"

And who can say no to Mr. T?

I wonder if Mom could have found a larger version of this next costume for Daisy...

Or maybe this one....

I think we got off easy!  Heehee!  Happy Howl-o-ween!

Snow!

So, we got a dusting of snow this weekend.  Apparently the little dogs thought this was an excuse to go crazy.  (Oh, wait.... a certain black dog is always crazy...)

Luckily, however, I was able to convince the wee beasties to work on their snow zoomies.  Little Blonde Dog is a quick study on the zoomies thing!

She levitates, too!
And there was much chasing going on....

Daisy is crazy, as always....

However, I was able to teach Little-Fur about sitting to get snacks.  She's get a way to go, but I think she's teachable!

I even sat next to Daisy....

Yuh. That black dog is just plain nuts!

And while the youngsters were doing crazy zoomie stuff, I was able to pose for photos, as civilized doggies do...

I do that well!

Have a great week!

Family Photos

Lucy is a little older than 4 months (a few days older - Mom had to give Lucy a bath, and get organized for the photos - a series of events that took 3 days....), and it is Family Photo Time. Again.

*sigh*

I hope Mom realizes what all I have to put up with during these photo sessions.... I mean, really, the youth of today!

I am totally not related to either of these goofballs. And if you couldn't guess these two are SUCH sisters!
I can't believe I have to allow my couch to be invaded for a few minutes each month...

In other news, Lucy is feeling better, and if you can't tell from the little sign, the prednisone that Lucy has been taking for her Puppy Strangles has given her a Budda belly! (She will lose it as she tapers off the prednisone, and can start hiking again, but for now, she's a bit of a Hippo-belly-us!)

And this is to refresh your memory on what she weighed a month ago....

Mom got a new board because she can't write with chalk - she wanted to use the 'liquid chalk; markers....
Holy carp! She put on 13 lbs in a little over a month!!!! She's going to be a monster!!! Eeeieee!

*ahem*  At least I have my couch back for another month...

Snow!

So, we woke up on Saturday morning to find a couple of inches of snow in the yard!  Little-Fur (aka Lucy-Fur) is learning the fine art of snow zoomies! (I got in snow zoomies earlier - at this point in time I was spending some quality one-on-one walkie time with Dad - let the kids do their crazies...)

The kid is learning the ropes!
Daisy, as usual, does Crazy Dog Snow Zoomies.

She's not called 'Craisy' for nothing!
Not only does Daisy do crazy-eyed zoomies, but she's also been tinkering with the Doodle Launcher - she's set it for maximum length.  And she FLIES!

"Look Ma! No gravity!"

She's got serious height AND distance on this leap!
In addition to flying through the air, Daisy did something that TOTALLY shocked me. She actually caught a frisbee!!! This may be a sign of the End of Days - don't say I didn't warn you!

Seriously, you might want to make sure you've got your food storage topped off, and you are ready for the rapture, or prepared for Ragnarok or whatever!

However, the world might not be ending tomorrow, I mean, she isn't 100% perfect... However, I think Daisy is just showing off for Lucy...

Speaking of Lucy, her 4-month birthday was this weekend, but Mom didn't get the monthly photo yet - that should happen this week, but Mom is hoping that her "puppy strangles" will get a little better (and Mom wants to give her a bath, and it's been a bit nippy this weekend).  But here's the wee beastie (who still has puppy cooties - trust me - I bark when she gets close to me at bedtime, because I'm totally worried about puppy cooties!)

You can see that her snooter is getting better - and her ears are WAY better!
Where have I been in all of this?  Well, watching Craisy while staying well out of the way, for one....

Oy vey!
And going on hikes with Mom and Dad.

"Hey, Dad. I think I see a moose over there - can I invite her over for a tea party?"
Notice how Mom has Craisy on a short leash? Yuh. She's crazy!
The snow and the fall colors made for some nice hiking this weekend!  (Lucy doesn't yet have approval to go hiking yet!)

Have a great week!
