Wordless Wednesday, but with words and it is still Tuesday

Heehee. The post will be mostly pictures, so it seemed like it should be Wordless Wednesday, but it's still Tuesday, and I like to practice my typing every once in a while.

Besides, I had to update a couple of things. Mango was right; Dad did have a coal and Oscar pee. And he's definitely happy to have it behind him. Heehee. I crack myself up sometimes! I think there is some teeny, tiny part of him that is glad to have it done, but Mom told me that he was muttering something about not wishing it on his worst enemy when she was driving him home from the clinic. Eh. If he only knew what they did to me at the vet office Every Time I Go, he might not complain so much.

*ahem.

Today was gloomy and wet and icky, so Mom and I didn't have any opportunities to go crunching through/falling down on picturesque autumn leaves. Instead, I went out and modeled my coat a bit. I don't really like it, but for the right amount of treats, I will pose for pictures. So, pose I did.

But only for so long, because I wanted to run. Even if the silly coat hampers my running abilities.

TaiChi, on the other hand, has no issues with her coat. And wears it most of the time - even in the house, because she gets cold easy. But she doesn't look like a crossing guard, so I don't blame her for wanting to wear her coat.

I did a very brief ROTE with Mom, but because it was so dreary and blah, mostly I hung out with Dad (who was recuperating today), and hogged all the bed space for myself kept his place warm when he got out of bed.

It was a Very Tough Day.

Mom, meanwhile, finally finished her little sewing project. Which means that she is now freed up to start stitching Christmas presents. (If you are a recipient - and you probably don't know who you are - you might want to anticipate your Christmas present around, oh, Memorial Day. I'm just sayin'....)

At least she took the time to personalize it! And I think the top dog kinda looks like Twix. I would say that it looks like Lorenza, but the stitched doggie doesn't have a dress on, so I don't think it could be Lorenza. And the dog with the bone? Hmm. Maybe Brownie. Whaddya think? Mom says that the pattern dictated how the doggies look - I have suggested that she start looking for patterns that have 'doodles in them. Dad said something about Mom already having enough patterns to keep her busy until the world comes to an end... Let's hope the Mayans weren't right, because I don't think Mom can work that fast!

A Brief Update From the Land of No Updates

Yes, I know. Mom has been Really Bad about updating. And don't even get me started about reading bloggies. She is so far behind in the bloggy world, that she's NEVER going to catch up.

But I guess she has a good excuse. The weather this weekend was Really Nice, so we went on several hikes (but, of course, Mom only brought her phone, so we just have these lame little pictures...):

As you can see, most of the leaves have fallen down, making for great crunchy noises. Except they also seem to cover over rocks and roots on the trail, and Mom tripped on one yesterday, and would have recovered fine, but her feet moving fast through the leaves sort of scared me and I bolted, and well, I guess I don't know my own strength, because the next thing I knew, Mom was on the ground, and kind of muddy, and muttering words that I'm too young to repeat. Note from Fi's Mom: all is fine, and poor Fi was so freaked out by the crunching leaves - she has never liked being chased, and I can only imagine what she thought must have been chasing her as I was trying to regain my balance! But, no harm, no foul!'

I should clarify that I LIKE the sound of crunching leaves. I just don't like the sound of a herd of elephants crunching through the leaves - which is exactly the sound that Mom makes when she trips and tries to recover her balance. Silly bipeds.

I guess Mom and Dad also went bye-sickle-ing this weekend, but really, who cares?

Today, though the weather is pretty nasty, so no hike for me today. Besides, Dad has some doctor's appointment that he has been preparing for all day yesterday with clear liquids, and stuff. I'm Not Even Going To Tell You what is happening to him today because, well, it is Too Frightening to Contemplate. Note from Fi's Mom: I'm not telling either. But it's just a routine exam, and nothing that we (meaning me - Gary's not thrilled in the slightest!) are worried about.

We have some (but not all) of the news on TaiChi. Apparently she has an e. coli infection in her bladder, and will be on antibiotics for a while, but they have pretty much ruled out cancer of any sort. So she gets to eat peanut butter (with the pills hidden inside) for a while longer until she is all better. But, she told me that she is feeling much better, and she's all into the peanut butter thing.

Finally, Mom has been sewing this weekend. She says she's almost done (she hopes to be done tomorrow), and will post a picture of it. She says it is doggie related, but I'll believe it when I see it!

Now Mom says she needs her computer back, so I'd better go. If I get a chance, I'll borrow her computer and start catching up on the bloggies!

Our Entry for Dory's Smiley-Fest

Mom's been slacking (again), but she FINALLY is getting around to getting our entries in for Dory's Smiley-Fest.

Here is my entry:

I am smiling because I just got in from play in the SNOW!!! If you look very closely, I have a chunk of snow between my eyes! And that gives me even more reason to smile! I am a Very Happy Dog here! (Not that I'm not usually a Happy Dog, but this snow stuff? It makes me a Very Happy Dog!) And Mom says I'm looking more like a Retriever. I wonder what she mean by this. Not that it matters. I know that she thinks I'm Very Pretty!

And I have another entry. I think Dory should create a special category for Old Doggies (or Old Beasties, if you prefer). Because while TaiChi's teeth aren't exactly pearly white anymore, she still smiles. In this particular picture (taken last fall), she was smiling at the fact that she was bigger (and on top of) me!!! See that glint in her eye? And the smile on her lips? She's TOTALLY got the Mona Lisa thing going on! (You may have to biggify to really see the Mona Lisa thing.)

Me? I was still suffering for Very Little Dog-itis. Serious Deer-in-the-headlights look! And I still can't believe that I was Ever That Little!!! But TaiChi is Very Pretty.

And since we are speaking about TaiChi? First, thanks for all of your kind wishes for her. Because she is So Old and Venerable, Mom is worried that she is fragile (which, well, she is, because she is Old and Venerable), and so she appreciates all the kind comments.

So, back to TaiChi. Most of the reports have come back, and the good news is that it is Very Unlikely that she has cancer. She does have an infection of some sort, but we won't know more about that until Monday. They've got her on antibiotics for that. The only issue is that the level of nitrogen in her blood is rising, while her creatinine (?) level is remaining pretty steady. Generally if the two rise together, it's a clear indicator that there is something wrong with her kidneys. For the nitrogen to rise while the creatinine doesn't is a bit puzzling, so Mom has collected some of her poop and will take it to the vet tomorrow for him to look at. Heehee. Now I can see the fascination in poop, but I am amazed that there are humans who study poop. Maybe they were dogs in their former lives!

The good news is that TaiChi seems to be feeling okay, is eating fine, pooping fine, is getting fluids to help flush out her bladder/kidneys, and doesn't seem to be having any noticeable issues. In short, even if she is sick with something, she's not acting like she feels sick. Which is a good thing. Mom just wants to make sure that all her plumbing is working okay, because these things seem to break easily when you get old, and she doesn't want to miss something that could get worse.

Oh, and one other thing: Mom took me on a hike today, since the weather was nice (50 degrees and sunny). It was pretty muddy - which suited me just fine - but we had a good time. Except for when the vet called, and Mom stopped and talked to him (she didn't want to keep walking and lose the phone signal) - that part was kind of boring. But the rest of it? Totally fun!!! Mom just didn't bring her camera for some silly reason, so we don't have any pictures. But if we go tomorrow? I'll make sure she's got her camera, because it is still pretty out!

Mostly Wordless Wednesday: Coats and Things

Mom says I look like I crossing guard. I say she's lucky to even get me in a coat. Even if I don't like the rain. I don't like clothes, either. But I like the treats that are associated with coats. So maybe I'll get used to it!

And because he has been under-represented as of late, Mr. Bufus, Ceiling Cat.

Not. Funny. Not funny At. All. MOM!!!!

And me and my big little sissy!

*kissey face*

Pee Ess: No official word on TaiChi yet. From my own eyes as her big little sister, she seems to be doing okay; she's taking her meds, and is getting her fluids, and won't let me eat her dinner, so I think she's okay. Mom says that tomorrow we will get some "reports" on her. But from my perspective? TaiChi is doing great. And I think she looks fabulous in her new coat!

Pee Pee Ess: Mom says that my new little sister (of whom I am a bit scared, after Mango's adventure with his cousin), will hopefully be here in February. I guess I've got a lot to learn about being a big sister before then!

Brief post with Poppity Corn

Just a short post here, as Mom is busy, and worried. Busy is work stuff, worried is about TaiChi. We all thought her UTI was cleared up last week with antibiotics, but she was showing similar symptoms yesterday, so Mom took her in to the vet today, and they are going to run a whole bunch of tests on her. Because TaiChi is so old, Mom always worries about her. Hopefully she'll be okay. Of course we'll keep you posted.

And since Mom has a business meeting here in a little while, I will keep this brief.

The trip to the racetrack in the House With Wheels was great - as always! And the car didn't break, and everyone seemed to have fun, so I think it was a success all around. Oh, and Bufus only threw up something like 3 times on the drive out, and only once or twice on the way back. I think Mom might want to talk to the vet about his motion sickness. Because he gets a little stinky when he throws up. In fact, I know (because I peeked at Mom's calendar) that Mr. Bufus is going to the groomer tomorrow for a bath and a trim of his fluffy pants.

And since nothing else has been going on (the weather has been kind of icky - cold and damp and just not very nice), I'll show you some pictures of the night that Mom and Dad had poppity corn, and shared some with me!

Dad presenting me with the poppity corn.
Heehee - it makes me a little cross-eyed.

Nom, nom, nom!

This eating of the poppity corn is very hard work!
Yeah, yeah, I KNOW there is some sitting on me. I am saving it for later!

And here's a picture of me with my little big sister, TaiChi. Because I love her!

Which way is up? :-)

Another busy day!

Another day where Mom has to type fast so we can get everything in!

First, we had a very slow morning; Mom didn't sleep very well, so after we got up and went outside (and decided that it was cold and windy), we got back in bed and snoozled (which is sort of like sleeping, and snoring (mostly TaiChi on that front) and snoodling (which is a poodle thing) all wrapped in to one - it's very warm and snuggy when we all snoozle together) for a while. Then after a while of snoozling, Mom got up and did 'stuff' around the house. And then she decided to start another dog-related cross-stitch pattern while she is washing/drying the big Gypsy Wagon (which will heretofore be referred to as The Cross Stitch House With Wheels). And she did that for a while, and more 'stuff'.

Then we did a ROTE. This time we just had to go to the pharmacy (at the grocery store), but I got into the Box With Wheels (aka the Jeep), and we went down to the store. I guarded the Box With Wheels while Mom went inside. (She promised she would be quick.) And quick she was! She came back with a little bag of stuff and a Nylabone for me. A big, giant Nylabone! But in truth, I wasn't all that interested on the drive home. Because, let's face it. Mom is a newer driver, and you know that you always have to pay attention with newer drivers, so I helped her by keeping an eye on the road for her, while also making sure that she used her turn signals and didn't talk on the phone. And, of course, I behaved Very Well so she wouldn't be distracted.

But when we got home? I was All. Over. the Nylabone!

And then?

And then, we we got home, Mom decided that the weather was good enough for us to go on a hike. Since she (finally) bought some cold-weather clothes (a couple more hats, some gloves, some warm tights, etc.), she bundled up against the wind and the cold, and off we went. Yay, Mom!

It was muddy, and Really Fun!

And there were lots of leaves to go tromping through!

So it was a great hike!!!

And. AND!!! While we were on the hike, Mom and I were talking (like we usually do when we hike), Mom told me that we were going to go back in the House With Wheels this weekend. It's just for Saturday night, and we are just going to Miller Motorsports Park, because Mom and Dad have a car race on Sunday, and they want us with them (how could they not?!?). So, House With Wheels and The Big Yellow Car!!! I can't wait!!!

Then the final excitement of the day? When we got back from the ROTE, Mom got the mail.

And in the mail? Mom had ordered a couple of baseball hats from the Irish Guide Dogs store. We found this via Clive, who is a very handsome goldendoodle, who works for a living, for his Not-So-Little-Man. I think he did some calendar work for them, but Mom and Dad (and I) are more baseball cap kind of people. Whaddya think?!?

Yo! (heehee!)

Pretty cool hat, huh?!?

Hikes and ROTEs and Things

Okay, I'm going to turn this bloggie over to Mom for just a couple of minutes. Bear with me, people, I'll be right back!

Hi, Fi's Mom here. First, thanks for all the nice comments on the cross-stitch. I still have to wash it and do all the back-stitching, but this is the biggest project that I've ever done, and it was sort of cool to see it all at once. There's still a lot of work to be done with it, but it is a labor of love. And yes, Dory, I did pick that particular pattern because I thought it would complement the House With Wheels! I've got another one that is a camper van that also works, and if I'm feeling ambitious after I finish this one, I will probably start that one next.

Second, most of the cross-stitch patterns I do are dog/cat related. (Duh!) But this is my personal favorite, because it is absolutely true!

And forgive me, but I'll probably show pictures of some of the other ones I do as I finish them, just because they amuse me. But most of them will be dog/cat themed, so hopefully Fi will give me some face time occasionally! *grin.

Now, back to Fi!

Thanks, Mom!

To be fair to Mom, she does most of her stitch stuff at night or when the weather is bad, so it's not like I'm horribly neglected or anything.

Yesterday we went on a walk that turned into a hike; it was warmer than Mom thought (or she was dressed more appropriately), so when we got up the road to where there is a trailhead, Mom turned up on the trail. Unfortunately, she didn't bring the camera, because there were some really neat places where there were all sorts of leaves on the ground, and it looked very fall-like. And the trail wasn't TOO muddy, so we took it all the way up to where we met the road again, and then walked down. It was really good to get back on the trail again, and Mom says that we'll probably go out tomorrow if the weather isn't too bad. This cool weather is GREAT, because it is a little too cool - in the 40's during the day - for Mom and Dad to go bi-sickle-ing, but if Mom dresses right (i.e. a hat and gloves, MOM!) it is perfect for hiking. And if it is a little muddy? Eh. It's muddy in the backyard, too. And mud is mud! So I'm very happy. And if we go tomorrow? I'll make sure Mom brings the camera.

Today? Today Mom and Dad had some business stuff in the morning, and the weather was sort of grey, so Mom decided that today was a good day to do the ROTE. And I told Mom that the Running Of The Errands had to include foodables, per the inscrutable Word of Mango. And did it? NO! Well, sort of no.

Note from Fi's Mom: We were only going two places: Wally World and The House With Wheels, and neither has dog-friendly foodables on an easily accessibly basis, so I had to improvise. First, I planned ahead and put a few treats in my purse, and then, well... I'll let Fi tell you.

So at our first stop, Mom gave me a Milk Bone treat, rolled the windows down a bit, and told me to bite anyone who came near. Okay, she didn't tell me that part. I made that up on my own to make me sound all vicious and protective-like. I confess, I was a little too nervous to eat my Milk Bone (I don't like being left alone, but Mom promised that she'd be back), but I did watch the guy collecting the cars, and I saw this woman driving a minivan trying to park while talking on the phone, and I saw someone put some newspapers in the recycling bin. Mostly I just watched people come and go. Luckily Mom wasn't gone very long. And when she came back, she brought me a toy. Not exactly foodables, but a toy! Mom thought she was being all clever, but since I was interested in the driving, I didn't pay that much attention to the toy.

But.... We were on to stop #2, and I had to pay atttention.

First, we drove Right By a McDonald's and Mom Didn't Even Stop! Of course, the McDonald's was on the other side of the street, and I couldn't see anyway to actually get there from our side of the road. So I'll cut Mom some slack. This time.

So then we went to the House With Wheels. It has been Really Cold at night, and Mom wanted to check to make sure that the furnace was working okay (and that she hadn't turned it up too high). So I checked out the premises from the car; it's pretty quiet this time of year, but there were people parked in the slot next to ours, and I had to make sure that they didn't have any Undesireables (i.e. vicious dogs, or god forbid, vivicous cats!). And Mom was back pretty quick.

And then we drove home. Since I had complained to Mom about her choice of music, she put on the "big" mix, so we listened to the Irish Rovers, and Jimi Hendrix, and Joe Satriani and Oingo Boingo and Rod Stewart and the Eagles. Definitely better than "All 80s All the Time".

When we got home, Mom brought out my toy again. And it finally dawned on me! My Mom got me a mummy! Her point being that "my mummy" would be with me, even when my Mom was in the store!!!

Heehee. My Mom can be so clever sometimes. A mummy to take the place of my Mom!

And a very cool mummy it is!

So while I didn't get any foodables while on the ROTE, I think Mom is starting to get the idea. I'll keep practicing with her until she gets it!

Must beat the servants...

Excuse me for a moment while I beat my secretary for being such a slacker.

*thwack*thwack*

Ahem.

Mom has been “too busy” to post for me the last couple of days. What, you ask, is she “too busy” doing? You’re not going to believe this.

She’s being doing “cross-stitch.”

?!?

Yeah. That's what I thought, too. But here's part of what she has been working on:

You don't see all of it because it is on a big frame, and some of it is already rolled up. For reference, it's about 20 inches wide, and about 18 inches tall when unfurled. Apparently, "all" she has left to do is the little part in the bottom left corner that is white, and then she's got to wash it (because she's been working on it since we were in Arizona and it got a little dirty in spots because when she first started she didn't really think about covering her work when she was done each day and Arizona is a dusty state...), and then do back-stitching, so it will ultimately look like this (theoretically):

So, she's got a lot of work to do, still. BUT.... I have to admit (begrudgingly), that she's put a lot of work into it, and I think it will look pretty cool when it is clean, and finished, and Granny and Grandpa frame it.

Mom says once she's done with this one, she's got some more big ones to work on, but has a few Christmas presents that she wants to work on, but can't show because they are going to people who might read this blog. Although I don't know if they do or not, because they almost never comment! *ahem.

Since Mom has been working on this (because apparently she said she would feel bad if she had put in this much work and then never finished it), I'll have to amuse you with pictures of Little Green Riding Hood:

If you can't tell, the hoodie part of her current coat is a little big for her teeny head. (Sort of like Mom's teeny head! Heehee!)

BTW, her bladder infection seems to be all cured (yay! Mom was worried that it could have been something else), and her blood pressure is normal, so TaiChi is doing really well for being 1,000 years old!

More later!

More snow!!!

So, there's more of this snow stuff falling. Actually, it didn't start off as snow. This morning when Mom finally woke up at 7:30 to take me out (she woke up in the night to take TaiChi out, but that doesn't count, as we just go on the porch, and I like to just sniff the fresh air at night) it was raining. Raining!!! This rain stuff is For. The. Birds. Or not, as they all seemed to be snuggifed up in their nests. Or have already gone to the Bahamas, or wherever birds go to get out of the cold.TaiChi stayed under the overhang the entire time. Me? I dashed out into the yard, did my business, and dashed back in, not even checking the usual squirrel hangouts.

Note from Fi's Mom: And then promptly tracked mud all over the kitchen floor and shook herself out all over me. Thanks, darling! But in all truth? It was pretty darn funny to see how fast Fi came dashing back inside.

Laugh all you want, Mom. If you recall, my formative years (okay, formative months) were spent in Arizona. And I didn't experience a lot of rain. So cut me some slack.

Anyway, since none of us (Mom and Dad included) are too keen on snow, we spent the morning snuggled in bed, with Dad doing work and half-watching football, while Mom decided to do a little more stitching on the Bayeux Tapestry. She's actually almost done with the regular stitching. Then she's going to wash it, and then has about 100 hours of back-stitching to do. It will probably take her a year to totally finish it, but I think she might actually do it!

By mid-day, the rain had turned to sleet, and Mom grumbled some more while TaiChi went on the porch (much of which is covered), while I insisted on going out back so I could track in more mud and get the blankies on the Big Dog Bed all wet. Heehee!

It was shortly after that that Mom decided to use the gift certificate that I got from Granny and Grandpa for my birthday to get me this:

Can you believe it? A rain coat?!?

Hmm. Maybe that's not such a bad idea. Because I'm wooly enough that I don't really get too cold (well, I haven't yet), but wet? Yeah, um. I actually don't like the rain. Did I mention that?

And since TaiChi wears her coat pretty much all the time now that it is cooler, Mom thought that she needed another one. Especially since her fleece coat that Granny and Grandpa made is still in the House With Wheels - nice going there, Mom!

So TaiChi got this:

And then Mom noted that neither she nor Dad has real rain coats. They've got lots of stuff for winter, and for cycling, but nothing for *ahem* walking dogs in the rain. I think Mom may have to remedy this situation. ASAP. Not that I necessarily want to go for a walk in the rain, but stranger things have happened.

I had watched the weather forecast the night before, and was certain that the sleet would turn to snow. So I paid very close attention to the weather.

Finally, the sleet turned into real snow. Kind of. It's still pretty wet and slippery underneath. And Mom had promised me that as soon as it was "real" snow, I could go out and get some zoomies in.

And did I ever get zoomies in!!!

Heehee! I look like I'm in 3-D!!!

TaiChi was just happy to have her coat on, and could come inside quickly.

But me? I got more zoomies in when we got Even. More. Snow.

OMD!!! This snow stuff is So Much Fun!!!!

And if it keeps snowing like this all night, tomorrow could be REALLY FUN!!!

PeeEss: Mom wants me to advertise for her, so here goes: See the thingy at the bottom of this page? The thingy that says "Swagbucks"? It is a search engine, but if you shop at stores that you probably already shop at, but go through their site, you get points, and for every 45 points you get, you can get a $5 amazon.com gift card. (You can get a bunch of other stuff, too, but since Mom is an amazon junkie, that's the only thing she cares about.) There are tons of stores to shop at, like Petco.com, Drs. Foster and Smith, and eBags, and Sierra Trading Post, and pretty much any other kind of store you could think of. In short, you get points for shopping, and searching, and they have contests and stuff. If you are on the computer a lot, like Mom is, it's a good way to get amazon gift cards! Mom's gotten $20 in gift cards, and is about to cash in for another $20.

And if you sign up using a referral from Mom, she gets some points too. So everyone wins. (And if you get your friends to sign up, you get points. It's kind of like a pyramid scheme, except everyone gets points). And I guess the search engine is a Google/Ask.com combination, so it's not like it is some hole-in-the-wall search engine. Anyway, Christmas is coming up, and everyone needs amazon.com gift cards, right?!? Okay, I'm done advertising for Mom!

Oh, she says that if you've got any questions, pee-mail her (through my profile), and she'll answer them, because she thinks it's a pretty nifty thing.

So many exciting things happening here!!!

So much excitement, so little time! MOM! You need to type faster!!!

First. This snow stuff. SNOW!!! Wow. This stuff is totally cool. Heehee. Yes, I think I'm funny!

Mom says that when I was Very Little, I was in snow before. I don't believe her. I mean, this snow stuff? I would have TOTALLY remembered it. And I don't remember it. So there is no way that I have seen snow before.
Fi - I beg to differ. You saw snow last November.

Mom says this is me. There is No Way that I was EVER that little. Or that fluffy. But apparently other people have confirmed that this is me. I am trying to get Johnnie Cochran to confirm or deny (or deny that he can't confirm) that this is me. Because I just CANNOT believe that that little Fluff Muffin is me. No Way. No How. And most certainly this isn't me.

I was NEVER that goofy looking. Never. Not possible.

Regardless. Yesterday's snow? OMD!!! Most definitely the most awesome stuff EVER. Admittedly, it took me a couple of tries to shift from being a rear-wheel drive dog to an all-wheel drive dog. I think the button was stuck.

Trying to figure out the all-wheel drive feature!

Note from Fi's Mom: Fiona has these HUGE rear legs, and if we were talking cars, we'd be saying this girl has about 14 inch tires on the rear wheels, with about 600 HP to the rear wheels. However, she's also got some serious 'grippage' on the front paws, as well. And when she puts it all together? Wow. This girl has power. And traction. And yes. I must admit, she took to snow an AWFUL lot faster than she took to water. So I guess we've got a snow dog. She was definitely thrilled with the snow. Who am I to argue with her?

So this snow stuff? BRING. IT. ON!!!

2nd note from Fi's Mom: We live at 7000 feet, and always get an early snow like this, and then typically it warms up and drys out for a while, and then we'll get slammed. But given Fi's strength and enthusiasm, I think it's time to look into skijoring. All of you Huskies: can you give us some hints? Pretty please?!? I think you might have an honorary Husky out here!

TaiChi, however, is slightly less excited about the snow. But at least she's got her heavy winter coat on!

And more excitement that same day?!? Mom was making dinner, and I was barking away, being the good alarm dog that I am. She thought I was barking at squirrels (me?), but when I didn't stop barking, she decided to take a look. And SEE!!! I was alerting her to something INTERESTING!!!

A red fox! How cool is that?!?

Okay. Enough of that. Winter is cool. And Mom and I went on a walk today. The snow has melted on only the east side of things, and it is still cold and all, but it was good.

But then. After the walk?!? Mom did a Mango-esque ROTE. And I. got. to. go. along.!!!!

Unfortunately, unlike Mango's Running Of The Errands (or whatever ROTE stands for), I Did. Not. Get. A. Cookie. I think this is totally unfair.

But Mom says that it is because we only went to the Post Office, and they don't give out dog cookies. The nerve! No cookies at the Post Office! I'd vote for raising postal rates if it meant that they'd start giving out dog cookies.

But, I got to go ride in the silver box Jeep. And Mom promises that now that it is cooler I'll get to ride along more. But I may need to talk to her about her choice of music. 80s and AC/DC. Oh and lots of twangy stuff that Mom got from Grandpa.

Time for me to go see what I can do about mom's iPod.
