What a difference a year makes!

This time last year, our yard looked like this:

You'll notice that on this date last year we had snow.  A fair amount of snow, actually.

This year?

Seriously? 

Honestly, if I didn't know better, I'd say Mom was pulling your leg by pulling out some pictures from early fall.  But no.  This is what our yard looks like today.

*sigh*

Not that we don't have fun (and we do have a little snow where the yard is in shadows)...

Look Mom!  No hands!  Heehee!

We're supposed to get a storm tonight/tomorrow morning, but it doesn't sound like much.  However, at this point, ANYTHING would be better than nothing.

But don't get me wrong; we have fun no matter whether we have snow or not.  AND, with the warm, dry weather we've been having, the streets in the neighborhood are dry, and this weekend Mom took us on two very long walkies, which was great!  Oh, and Mom and Dad aren't really complaining about the snow TOO much; no snow means Mom has an easy commute and Dad doesn't have to clear the driveway!

But we're going to do another snow dance anyway!
