Firing up the Rubber Band on AirFiona Again

Mom has been Very Busy the last couple of days. Washing clothes and buying dog food, and all sorts of tasks that have kept her Very Busy.

"What gives," You ask? I asked that same question:

Well. Apparently, Mom is going to North Carolina to visit Granny and Grandpa, and my uncles and their families.

She is, of course, taking AirFiona. Note: this is an artist's rendition, as Mom hasn't actually gotten on the plane yet. But she insisted on driving the plane. (Little does she know that the steering wheel is just for show!)

Needless to say, TaiChi and Bufus and I are a Little Concerned about being left with just Dad to take care of us. (No offense, Dad, but, uh, Mom is the one who has been feeding us.) However, Mom has left Copious Notes, as well as a day-by-day instruction list for Dad (which does, I saw, when I was checking her work, include "Feed Dogs"). So I have faith that if Dad reads Mom's detailed, day-by-day instructions, All Will Be Fine. *paws crossed*

Because I have AirFiona, I will be popping back to North Carolina from time to time while she is gone (she leaves Very Late Tonight - or Very Very Early Tomorrow Morning, depending on your perpsective) so that I can keep you updated. And to make sure that I get fed! Kidding, Dad!

More later, as I must start my pre-flight check.

Hi Fiona,

Does mom know that guys do not read/follow instruction manuals... and just get things done their way... but not necessary a bad thing though. That's a cool plane you have there... beats Boeing or Airbus anytime.

Licks, hero

If things don't go well with the daddy and you get hungry, just set your flighpath to NE Ohio - we'll keep you fat & happy!! Oh, wait - does that mean I have to share?? Hmm, mama says I'm not good at that... But for you Fiona, my lovely pal, I'll give it my best!

I'm very worried about you Fiona. If you don't get fed, you'll die. That's not a good thing.

let me know if I can help...

Hi Fiona,
I'm sure you will be just fine with your Dad. If he forgets to feed you, let me know and I'll email you some of my food!

Hi Fiona - we love being left with our Dad - he breaks all the rules - we eat his food - and we can make him give us scritchy scratches all day - plus when we really annoy him he takes us for a car ride to calm down!!!

If he forgets to feed you - let us know - we can airmail a care package!

Lots of licks and luck

Ha! I bet your dad doesn't read all the notes. You will just have to practice looking hungry and hope he figures it out.

Two sides to this. Dad's may forget to check the list, but they also don't know all the rules. You can get away with things!

Tell your mom to wave as she passes over our house. We will be wooing to her.

The bad news is your dad will probably not feed you using the notes. The good news is he will probably order a pizza and you can probably snag a slice when he is not looking.

Oooooooohhhh.....piiizzzzzaa!

We wonder if your daddy will write your mom notes like: "Your dog ate my food", "Your dog won't eat the food I gave them"....LOL

Your dad sounds a bit like our dad here - needing detailed lists whenever our Mom has gone away! He does usually remember me and the kids, but the cat and the fish have been known to suffer!

Take care

Fiona, I hope your mommy's trip goes perfectly! I hear you about daddies.... my momster does most of the work with me, so I always feel a little bit apprehensive about being alone with daddy!

Have fun Mom! Somehow our babies manage to survive without us (I'm never really sure how to take that either). Have a safe trip!

We are sure your mom will call you and then remind your pops to fed you. We will stop by and check on you just in case!

Hi Fiona,

If your daddy forgets to feed you, just howl real loud all night and that will get his attention!

But if it doesn't work the first time, don't do it again or you'll be in the dog house!

Come by and see us soon.

Luv,
Riley and Star.

Hi Fiona,

Happy trip to your mom! Bullet says that to be sure you get fed well by dad, always have your adorable give-me-my-treats face ready all the time. That works wonders than any reminders. =)
