More Snow!

Yeah, yeah, we know.... We've been totally slacking on the bloggie thing - both posting and visiting.  If it's any consolation, you can totally blame Mom.  Seriously.  See, Mom gets up at 5:45am to go to work, and Mom is not exactly a Morning Person.  Grandpa is probably snickering at this point, thinking back to all the 5am swim practices he drove Mom to when she was a wee pup; he can testify to Mom's total lack of Morning Person-ness.   Anyhoo, so Mom gets up at o'dark-thirty and heads off to work, and while she comes home at a reasonable time (and if the weather cooperates, she and Dad will take us on a walk before dinner), she's ready for bed at 8pm or something, and that doesn't leave a lot of bloggie time.  We're hoping that Mom will eventually adjust to this morning thing and we'll be back to our regular bloggie post and visits.  But in the meantime, bear with us...

Enough of the blather.  We got snow this weekend!  It was another wet (for us) snow, so Dad had a lot of work to clear the driveway, but Abby and I had lots of fun bitey-ing and zoomie-ing.

Happy snow doggies!
So yeah, we totally did the New Snow Zoomie thing.  (Again, we've got you snowless doggies in our thoughts with each snowy lap!)

Powder hounds!

It doesn't get better than this!

More zoomies, or some bitey-face?
Definitely some bitey-face!

Heehee. Bitey-face is ALWAYS awesome in new snow!

And for those of you who are thinking picturesque winter/holiday photos, here is the obligatory Winter Wonderland shot from our back deck.

Apparently this morning was not so much of a Winter Wonderland; when Mom got up to go to work this morning, we had gotten 4-5 inches of snow, and it was snowing hard!  Mom had her first opportunity to experience her commute in snow.  Apparently her little car is just fine in snow, and after years of racing rear-wheel-drive cars in the rain on race tires, she knew enough to not drive like a total idiot in the inclement weather....  But we enjoyed the snow!  However, we are supposed to have good weather until Thanksgiving day - which means lots of walkies AND snow zoomies.  Does it get any better?  I think not!

First Day of Spring and Some Catching Up

First. Today is the first day of Spring!!!

Which, of course, means SNOW!!! Yeah, um, welcome to Utah in Spring!

We only got 4 inches, but at 8am they hadn't plowed the streets in our neighborhood, and it's been really windy, so Mom and Dad decided to stay home with us. Of course they did. What is better than staying home with us? Yuh. I didn't think you could answer that.

I played some tug-o-war with Mom.

I won, BTW!

And, of course, Abby and I christened the new snow with some bitey-face.

And we got some zoomies in, too. (Of course.)

Mom also got about a zillion pictures of us playing with the frisbee. She says that it is essentially 'bitey-face with frisbee' and says that it's sort of like rhythmic gymnastics but, uh. Nevermind. Apparently I'm not allowed to repeat Mom's comments about rhythmic gymnastics. I guess what she means is that we're performing bitey-face with apparatus, and she puts that higher up on her list than rhythmic gymnastics. Whatever that all means. We just like playing with the frisbee.

Of course, we also did a little obligatory posing for Mom.

Mom's a fan of these pictures where she can zoom in so close that she can see my chin hairs in perfect clarity. I have mentioned that Mom is weird, right? Yeah. Anyway.

And if you look closely at this picture, you'll see evidence of Abby's latest pruning endeavors. Heehee.

Now, on to the catching up stuff. I got my official judging certificate from MangoMinster. Thanks again for all the hard work, Mango! You can see my certificate on the right hand side of the bloggie, but for those of you getting this by email, here it is!

And, we were able to participate in the kissing booths at the Paws of Peace fundraiser. Which means that Abby and I both got to smooch Mango!!!

We're gonna have Mom frame this picture to memorialize this for all time! Us! Getting to smooch Mango!!! We didn't think this was ever going to happen!

And, because he's got such a cute little snooter, we smooched Pepsi.

Heehee. He's such a little cutie! And it was for a good cause!

And on that note, we're all caught up and must go frolic in the snow!
