We (mostly) cooperated for Mom's 4th of July photo. I don't know why Daisy insisted on sitting beside me. I mean, does she not get that I'd prefer to be a bit farther away from her?!?
You will notice that we have had our furs trimmed, making the youngsters crazier and more aerodynamical than usual!
I prefer to stay on the sidelines next to Mom when the kids get their crazy on! But I have been swimming, and will go swimming tomorrow, so lots of quality, youngster-free time for me! (Mom has more photos of me swimming, but she's scrambling to get a bloggie post out in a somewhat timely manner!)
Lookit me using my leggies! |
Dad and Clark getting the Big Dogs ready. (Mom has no idea what to do, so she took photos and tried to stay out of the way!)
Dad's in the cowboy hat, long-time family friend and Best Man at Mom and Dad's wedding, Clark, is in the baseball cap. |
The horse Mom was to ride is on the left - Jackie (the horse) had been tested by Clark's grandkids, so they figured Mom could probably manage... |
Mom and Dad (and yes, Mom is wearing a helmet because her coordination - or lack thereof - is legendary) |
Mom, the back of Paco's head (the horse Dad was riding) and lots of scenery. |
A quick break to make sure Mom hadn't fallen off! Heehee! |
Mom and Clark and the sign for the Great Western Trail. |
Have a safe and happy holiday!

Your mom looks like she's have a wonderful time and looks like a natural in the saddle and you girls look great in your patriotic bandanas. Happy 4th!
You girls are all looking great in your patriotic bandanas and with your furs trimmed. It looks like your mom was enjoying herself and it is always smart to wear a helmet when riding a horse just like you should when riding a bike.
We hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July holiday. Your mom is having such a great time riding that beautiful horse. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
