No snow...

It's been warm, and our backyard is half mushy snow and half mushy mud. Abby and I are keen on both. Mom? Not so much.

So we've been walking around the neighborhood.

Here we are in the driveway. See? No snow. The horror!

Abby was just staring in shock at the retreating snow.

Ooooh. I can't look. The horror!

Mom has been trying to get some decent shadow pictures. This is the best of the lot...

We actually walked almost in unison, sometimes, you know, so we can lull Mom into a false sense of security! Actually, we're pretty good - walks are fun!

All of our lovely snow is melting...

*heavy sigh*

Mom says our walking trails may be open soon. So that's good. I guess. And she can grumble about mud for a while, so that'll keep her busy!

We are solidly into spring (well, except for that heavy frost outside this morning) and all of natures creatures are stirring - even on our hiking trails!

OOOO mud slush is funneds! You both should totally be allowed to played in there. If you're allowed to play in snow, I don't understand why you aren't allowed to play is slushy mud. Besides, mud is good for skin & coat!

My Mom has the same hangs ups about mud and slush. Humans! What can we do with them? I know you'll miss your snow but you will find new adventures girls!

Look at those beautiful mountains there! My mom spent some time today cleaning out the car from mud and sand of my recent adventures! Gotta get muddy sometimes...well, if I had my way, it might be all the time :) All walkies = good walkies.

Sweet hugs,
Sierra Rose

Time to shift into Spring/Summer gear! We know you love your summer activities as much as your winter ones, once you get over the inertia. You seem to walk very well on leash!
