Happy Howl-o-ween!

Happy Howl-o-ween to everyone! We don't actually do the Howl-o-ween thing (well, other than Mom buying some candy corn, but don't tell anyone - that's her secret vice...), but I'm all impressed with those of you who actually get dressed up. Like Darth Brutus. HAHAHAHA! Actually, he looks so good in that costume, some one might want to contact George Lucas and see if there are more sequels in the making... I'm even impressed with Mango, although I'm not entirely convinced by the 230lb bumblebee. I'm just saying...

Anyhoo. Neither Abby nor I is dressing up, because, well, neither of us likes clothes.

Fr'instance, notice my complete and overwhelming joy in wearing this hat:

Yeah, not so much.

Or this:

C'mon. Enough with the hats...

Although this was not a better look (except that I guess I could dress up as a crossing guard...)

I think this pretty much sums up WHY I do not want to be dressed up for ANY holiday. (Thanks, Mom. Very funny. Just remember: I know where your shoes are.)

So while I will enjoy looking at pictures of all of my friends in their Howl-o-ween finery,

I think I'm going to stick to working the treat angle...

No dressing up here either. I think that's dog abuse and should be punishable by a wet noodle... or something like that.

My pups agree with you. And if it makes you feel any better, Charlie makes the same face when I put a raincoat on him. Must be a Poodle thing.

Well, not much of an outfit, there Miss Fiona. And your rain gear is quite shocking. You go out in public like that?

Hi Fiona - I'm with you on the costumes! Thank goodness they don't really celebrate Halloween much Down Under. I always shudder when I see all these poor doggies in costumes in America - although my human thinks they look really cute! :-)

Hey - we're wondering - what is "candy corn"?

Hiya Fiona! Thanks for stopping by at my bloggie!
My hooman tried to dress me up for Howl-o-ween but I tell you I was EXTREMELY lucky!!! She wanted to buy a costume on the evening of the 30th and the store was packed with hundreds of strange people trying to buy last minute costumes. Things like that are nothing for my mum :) So she left again... I was glad to see her with no bags. :)

That rain gear's got more going for it than just good looks -- where we've been, we could have used it for the last, oh, ten days or so. Hurry up and snow already!
