Another Funballs Doggie Class

This Saturday was an absolutely beautiful day - sunny, warm, and totally Spring-like.   Since it was so nice, we had an 'out on the town' doggie class.

Right across the street from Petco is Newpark - a living-shopping-working 'community' with all sorts of stores and places to walk around.  Mom and Jessi thought it would be a great 'socializing' experience for us to go out and be around people and pose on stuff, all while trying to stay focused on Mom and Jessi.

Our first stop was this ginormous sundial.  Oh yeah.  We can sit on marble benches.  Piece 'o cake!

We can even stay when Mom is miles away from us!

"Jessi's here.  Look well-behaved!"
Then we went and posed on some rocks.

Synchronized posing.

"Seriously.  Treats for lying on a rock?  This is COOL!"

Synchronized sitting.  Oh yeah!  We rock all the synchronized events!  Get it?  Rock?  Heehee!

And on separate rocks.  Note how Abby is sitting and I'm laying down.  That was actually planned!

'Okay' is our release word.  We're outta here!

More posing.  Did I mention that we rock the synchronized events?  Yep.  More rock jokes!

Yep.  We rock!

Heehee!  It was an awesome class. In addition to sitting on things, we actually approached people and let them pet us, and we walked around all sedately and calmly and whatnot.  I may or may not have barked at some of the rescue cats for adoption in Petco, but the class was about being around people, NOT kittehs.  Just saying.

In addition to doggie class, we got in several vigorous rounds of bitey-face.

And, of course, some serious frisbee time.

Gumby, erm, Abby the Frisbee Maniac

Got it!

Keep your eye on the frisbee!

Look at that mouth.  Serious Land Shark Jaws of Doom.

"You put your left foot in... you put your right feet up.  You catch the frisbee and you shake it all about!"
So yes, we had a totally awesome weekend!  And for those of you who have asked, we do actually take some downtime.  Occasionally.   Mostly its so we can recharge our batteries for more frisbee time!
