I'm pretty! Just ask my Mom!
And my sister is goofy. (But I'll bet you already knew that...)
Which makes us pretty goofy together! Heehee.

Update
Hi!!!
I haven't been around much lately as Mom has been busy doing 'stuff' (when she's not hogging the computer), and I'm apparently not allowed to use the computer unsupervised after I purchased Carl Sagan's Cosmos series on DVD... Sheesh. A girl tries to get a little education, and she's not allowed free access to amazon.com any more. Hey, it's not my fault that Mom has enabled the 'one-click' purchase option...
Anyhoo, when Mom hasn't been off doing 'stuff', she's been working on the 2011 calendar. See, as a Christmas present for all of our relatives, Mom uses the Kodak site to make calendars using a selection of pictures that she's taken over the past year. And no, I'm not spoiling the surprise; Mom has been doing this for the last 6 years - if our relatives can't figure out what the calendar-shaped object in wrapping paper under the Christmas tree is by now, well, I don't think I'll be ruining the surprise now.
So, Mom has been sort through pictures from the last year, and so far, she's only made in into March - apparently there are about 500,000,000,000 ("billyuns and billyuns"... heehee... can you tell I've been watching my Carl Sagan DVDs? At least Mom didn't make me return them...) pictures of Abby as a puppy. I was going to be all insulted until Mom pointed out that she had an entire external hard drive full of pictures of me as a youngster. Anyhoo, Mom has been busy working on the calendar so she hasn't gotten too many recent pictures of me.
But, here's a very slight preview of potential pictures for the calendar...

Heehee. Can you believe that my hippobottomus sister used to be that little fluff ball?
Snow!!! (Apparently we're supposed to have a HUGE storm this weekend. I hope so because this mud is really cutting into my Abby-smackdown time.)
D'oh. Me and TaiChi, doing what we did best!
Heehee. Anyhoo, that is just a small taste of the pictures that might make it into this year's calendar. I say 'might' because Mom picks out about 200 pictures and there are only 12 months in the year...
One final thing; thanks (on Mom's behalf) for the comments about her cross-stitch. She didn't actually intend for them to be direct depictions of us. She does cross-stitch to help her 'unwind' (whatever that means) and she likes doing doggie stitches when she can find cute ones that "aren't too sappy or ridiculous" (direct quote from Mom). However, she did think that the sleeping doggie sort of looked like me... What do you think?

Mom sees similarities in the squeezy-eyes and snooter. At least she knows that my butt isn't that big! ;-)

Sixth Folder, Sixth Picture
The distinguished Mr. Farley has tagged me on the Sixth Folder, Sixth Picture thing. I have a wee bit of a problem with this because when I open up Mom's Pictures folder, it sorts the folders differently than when I open up the pictures in Blogger. So, I'm going to post both. I think this all happens in part because Mom only organizes her Pictures folders by date, and not by category or anything. So this is the real Sixth Folder, Sixth Picture, by date:

This is my older brother, Ben, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge last December. He had cancer, and Mom and Dad are sad that he left this world much too soon. Mom's eyes are a little red even now. He was a big, handsome guy, and a Thinker of Deep Thoughts. Mom and Dad say that there are times, with a certain hair cut, or from a certain position where I look Very Much Like Him. They wanted to have one of his puppies, but that didn't happen, so they got me, instead. I think that the Universe wanted to make up for Ben not getting the chance to be a father, by making me look very much like I could be his daughter. Which is very cosmic, but very cool. And it sort of freaks Mom and Dad out (in a good way, I think), sometimes. Anyway, in this picture, Mom and Dad had just got the House With Wheels, and Ben testing out the couch. Clearly, he approves. And I'm glad he broke the couch in - because it is Just Perfect!
Okay. Now the second picture, which is what Blogger seems to think is the Sixth Picture from the Sixth Folder (try saying THAT five times fast!).

This is from this winter in Parker. I think it was early January, during a cold spell (hence the hat and fleece jacket on Mom). I am in my favorite spot, helping her read. Who says I'm NOT a pillow dog? In fact, I'm STILL a pillow dog. It's not my fault that the pillows are So Small. Besides, I was helping keep Mom warm. Note from Fi's Mom: this was NOT exactly the most comfortable reading position, as my 'backrest' kept squirming around on me.... But she is a good heater!
I don't know what Mom is talking about. I was comfortable, so where's the problem?!?
Anyway, those are my pictures. Some time I'm going to have to go through and pick a picture from each month and post it - because there are a lot of really cool pictures in these folders....
The weather is supposed to be nice, so I think I might convince Mom to go on a hike today. Which, of course, means treats for me!
