This is NOT A JOKE. Seriously. In the middle of this last week,
we got snow!!! Even though we are in the mountains and have been known to have some wacky weather, by mid-June we usually assume we are done with snow until at least September... But apparently Mother Nature decided to play a joke on us.
It didn't last long - the snow didn't even stick around for 24 hours, but we made the best of it.

| I had a vet appointment most of Wednesday, but there was enough snow left when I got home that I could catch some snowballs, too! |
And Mom took advantage of the inclement weather to get some 'dramatic' shots.
And we got some indoor squeaky ball time!

Mom also decided that this was the week to start seeing if she could get a photo of both - or either - of us holding a flag in our mouth(s) - in preparation for a 4th of July photo shoot. Well, lemme tell ya... The only thing I like holding in my mouth is a tennis ball. So Mom improvised....
Mom says we need to keep trying. I say as long as there are treats involved, I'm willing to try some more!
The rest of the week has been spent in the usual tennis ball related activities.
So yeah, we've had an exciting week!

Stoopid blogger wouldn't let me finish my comment last night...sheesch....so I unpacked Scruffy's bag from his trip and noticed that he brought back 279 snow balls...but um they all melted. We cannot believe you had snow in June...that is pawsitively insane....kudos on the photos...love those jaws of doom!!!

Uh... yeah... have to agree with Scruffy & pals. Crazy good photos. I mean really, really great! Your photographer has stepped up her game. I'm not very inspired these days to blog, but if I was, I think I'd be embarrassed to post any pics. You (and a few others) are putting the rest of us to shame. But then I take my own photos (selfies they're called) so maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself... and if I ever see snow here in JUNE, I'll be looking to relocate ASAP.
It's 110+ degrees here - you could send some of that snow our way...
