No Frisbee? For Two Weeks?!?

For the three of you who haven't heard via Facebook or Mom's Photo Blog, my dear sister Abby tweaked her back during our frisbee session on Friday, and the vet visit on Saturday determined that it was "nothing serious" but Abby was going to have to be restricted to 'low impact' activities (i.e. walkies, no frisbees) for two weeks.  TWO WEEKS!  So, not only did we miss doggie class (and thus the Magic Cheeseburger window) because of Abby's sports injury, but now neither of us will get any frisbee action for two weeks (because according to Mom's convoluted logic, it wouldn't be "fair" for me to see some frisbee action while Abby has to stay on the couch...).  On the plus side, Abby's vet appointment meant that we didn't have to face the potential humiliation of wearing bunny ears at doggie class, so I guess it wasn't a total loss...

Anyhoo, enjoy these frisbee photos, as these will be the last you see for a little while.  *sigh*  But there are a lot of frisbee photos, just so you won't go into withdrawal.

In case you had any doubts, Mom is totally loving her new lens!

Alas, we won't even get to do any indoor squeaky ball chasing for a week (just to be on the safe side), so enjoy these pictures, too...

So, for the next two weeks, you see a lot of this:

And this:

However, we won't just be napping for the next two weeks.  Part of Abby's "physical therapy" is going on walkies, and Mom says she's going to try to seek out some new walkies for us, so we don't get bored, doing the same loops over and over again.  And no doubt Mom will get pictures of that!  She also found a place in Salt Lake that has an indoor doggie pool, so who knows, maybe there will be some swimming, too....  And hopefully some doggie classes (and the long awaited trip to the Magic Cheeseburger Window!).  We'll kewp you posted!

Gonna be lots of suffering! Poor Abby! Mom checked out the pool thing. Then decided it was a bit pricey, especially after the orientation. Let us know how it is if you go!

We have a sneaking suspicion that you girls won't be too bored for the next couple of weeks. We LOVE the pictures that are taken on the couch!
Rest up, Abby!

Love ya lots♥

Now then, Miss Fiona, there is no reason for you to suffer along with Miss Hippobottomus. Back when the RH still walked among the living, we had to take turns being outside with momma for private training.

Yes, the RH howled when it wasn't his turn and, yes, I did look out the window with my best ever sad face when the RH was training, but fair is fair, right? Momma says that with practice she could almost ignore one of us for the other.

Kisses,
Dexter

P.S. I do feel a bit sorry for Miss Abby. Enforced inactivity can be quite frustrating.
