Another Week of Tennis Ball Action

You might think that we spend our days doing nothing but chasing tennis balls.  You would actually be wrong.  When Mom is off at the Great Kibble Provider, we spend a lot of time napping, harassing Dad to let us out on the porch so we can bark to be let back in so we can bark to go back, and going on walkies with Dad.  But when Mom gets home, it's Tennis Ball Time!  And since Mom is camera-crazy, she's got about a zillion photos from the last week.    Not that we are complaining - as long as Mom keeps the tennis balls flying, she's more than welcome to snap all the photos she wants.

Mom says I'm the Ouroboros.  I don't know what that means, but I think it means I'm flexible.  Heehee.
There were many zoomies this week.

There was also much leaping and catching.

There were also many 'near misses'.  We blame the tennis ball thrower, not the intended catchers!

"Hey, Mom - where's the ball?!?"
And there was some hanging out.

She who has the most tennis balls wins, right?
For some reason, Mom thinks we have broken the law of gravity, and has named us the Tennis Ball Gang.  We think Mom is losing it...

Have a great week!

A Funballs Week!

Spring/Summer is definitely one of our favorite times of the year (Fall/Winter is our next favorite time of the year... we actually like Mud Season, too, but Mom complains too much about muddy paw prints for us to be able to completely enjoy it, like we do the other times of the year!)!

One of the bestest parts about this time of year is going on hikes.  Mom has been "busy" the last couple of weekends, but she finally decided that this was the weekend to start hiking on the trails around our house. We, of course, were more than happy to get moving!

C'mon, Mom!  Let's get MOVING!

"Abs, I'm sure we can pull Mom up this hill if we put our legs into it!"

Okay, fine.  You can take another picture.  And then lets get moving!

"Hey Mom, it's kinda warm out here.  Could I get come water please?"

Perfect!  That hits the spot!

Okay, let's keep going!

Yeah, yeah, beautiful scenery.  Now let's get moving!

Sky.  Mountains. Us.  You got the photo, Mom; more walking, less photographing!
Heehee.  We like to give Mom a hard time, but we really do enjoy the hikes - and if it means we have to stop for photo ops occasionally, well, I guess that's just the price we have to pay!

We also got in a lot of quality tennis ball time.

Check out that ear flappage!

And that lip flappage!

I think Abby missed that one!

Focus, focus, focus....

Abby displaying her T-Rex arms.

Snooter bounce!

Is this fetch or soccer?

Hmmm.  I'm thinking she didn't catch this one, either.
However, given the number of catches we did make, I think we can blame the near-misses on Mom's throwing abilities (or lack-thereof) rather than our catching abilities.

Lookit me!  I'm Super Dog!

Check out my extension!
And, there was much zooming!

This next photo, I totally blame on Mom...

So a tennis ball in the mouth is worth one in the air?  Really?
There was also much relaxing in the shade.

We had a few other photographic adventures this week.

Mom decided that if Abby was going to persist in chasing the rabbits that live around our house, Abby needed to out herself in the proper mindset for rabbit chasing...

"'To catch the bunny you must first become the bunny?'  Are you sure about this?"

Totally sure!  Now where's that rabbit stew I was promised?
Heehee!  And for the record, no bunnies were hurt in the making of this post.

Have a great week!
