We're ALL NEKKID!!!

Heehee. I bet that'll bring some weirdos via Google. Hi weirdos! Now go away, weirdos. Thank you.

First, for those of you who have been asking: No, Our Roof is Not Done Yet. If Mango is right, and the roofers are just tired and have taken a nap, these guys will be the best rested people on the face of the planet. Anyhoo, it is a little unclear as to the cause of the delay. But, it's not supposed to rain any time soon, so Mom isn't getting too irate. Yet. But, our roof is still nekkid.

As you might be able to tell from that picture, it is sunny and the weather is wonderful right now; cool at night and warm during the day. Perfect. And fall has come to the Wasatch. But I'll get to some pictures of that in a minute. And while we are all happy that the weather is still nice and warm, Abby and I have gotten a little, ah, woolly.

Here we are, all woolly-like.

And perhaps just a wee bit dusty because certain girls seem to like rolling in the dirt...

Isn't this TOTALLY the face of a puppy who needs a haircut?

Heehee.

And frankly, we've both been getting hot on our walkies.

(Yes, our walkies always include some sort of tennis ball-related activity...)

So, Mom decided that it was time to go to the spa. She called them today, and they were able to get us in this afternoon. So, we went from this:

To this:

and this:

Heehee! Lookit us! We're all nekkid!!!!

And much cooler and sleeker, too.

When we were at the doggie spa, we saw our old friend Basil the standard poodle and resident shop dog. Basil is in a 'poofy phase'. We still think he's handsome. (Although not quite as dashing as our buddy Clive - who is handsome even after a rough weekend of partying! *grin* Seriously. Go check out those pictures of Clive. He is a most patient guy!)

Basil the shop dog. And yes, Granny, his name is pronounced just like the guy who lived next door to you in Jeddah and threw wild parties with stewardesses (back before they were called "flight attendants") until all hours of the morning.

Yeah. Um. So. Moving on.

Fall has really come to Utah, and Mom and Dad went for a drive on Sunday. And left us at home... Something about winding roads and something. Whatever. Abby and I were able to catch up on our beauty sleep, so we'd be 100% recharged to harass Mom and Dad when they got back home... Here's a few pictures from their drive without us. I'm sure they missed us terribly the entire time they were gone!

I'll leave you with a few action photos of our woollier selves.

Yes, my sister is actually carrying a rock. Don't ask me why. Maybe it fell out of her head! Heehee.

Back from a Hy-ate-us

Hi! I'm back! Mom decided to take a "Hy-ate-us" from blogging for a few days while she dealt with "the real world". I don't know who Hy is, or why he ate us (although I bet Abby would make a great rump roast - heehee!), and I don't know of this "real world" of which Mom speaks, so I'll just nod and smile.

So... While we've been gone, our roof has been removed, but not yet replaced. Something with the guys who put the new roof on being behind in their schedule or something. So, our roof currently looks like this:

If you think some of those pictures look like they are taken from the top of the house, you would be right. Uncle Larry doesn't seem to have any fear of heights. Or he's crazy. Or both.

So, if the roof ever gets finished, I'll get you more pictures. In the meantime, apparently Hy has also eaten the roofers. Heehee. Although Mom doesn't seem to find that funny.

While we haven't been wandering the bloggie world, we have been doing lots of walkies in the real world. And fall has hit the Wasatch, so the walkies are becoming quite aesthetically pleasing.

The Olympic Park with fall colors on the hill.

And, of course, there has been much swimming and fetching.

Here are a few more pictures of the fall colors right around the house...

There has also been much bitey-face (but what else is new, eh?).

Notice the dust and debris flying? Yep. That sort of negates our inherent hypo-allergenic qualities. Heehee!

A little bitey-butt. (Hey, a Hippobottumus is the perfect target for bitey-butt!)

My what white toofies my sister has... *snicker*snicker*

And what cool tail action I have! Heehee!

I mentioned my sister's toofies, right? Heehee.

Eat my dust! (Literally!)

"Got your ear!!!"

But at the end of the day, we're still sisters.

And totally innocent.

Heehee.

BTW, it'll take us a few days to catch up bloggies, so be patient with us...

Hi from the House With Wheels!!!

Hi!!! We're in the House With Wheels (aka the Starship Enterprise) this week. Nope, we're not at a car race, or some exotic vacation local (well... if you consider Park City an exotic vacation locale then I guess we are, but since we live here, it sort of loses some of its exotic-ness). We're here because our House Without Wheels has been invaded.

Do you see all those people crawling all over My House?!? And do you have any idea how much I hate people crawling on my house? Let's just say that I hate it enough that Mom and Dad decided it would be better if we stayed in the House With Wheels while these people crawl all over my roof.

And create mass destruction. If I was Dennis, I'd probably think they were looking for termites or something!

So, yeah. This chaos is supposed to go on ALL WEEK.

Mom can't find a picture of the House With Wheels in Park City (and Uncle Larry has the camera so he can take pictures of the demolition), so here's a 'stock' photo from when we were in southern Utah, for those of you who might not have seen the House With Wheels.

We are back to our usual hiking, but (again, since Uncle Larry has the camera) we haven't had a chance to get any pictures of the fall flame that is coming out on the hillside - the colors are quite brilliant right now. (I'll make sure Mom gets pictures. I promise!) In the meantime, I'll leave you with a few pictures from our zoomies yesterday (before the people came to tear down my house...).

Here's a picture for you that shows you a hint of our fall color in the background...

Mad ball skillz? I got 'em!

And Abby wants to be just like me! :-)

The number #2 Rule of Fetch? Keep your eye on the ball.

The #1 Rule is to keep an eye on your sister....

Good times! But alas, we won't get our yard back until the weekend. *sigh*

So, in the meantime, go vote for my sister Abby and her Hippobottomus tag, PLEASE!!!! (On the right side bar.) THANKS!!!!

We'll be preparing ourselves for tomorrow's adventures!
