Fall is Here

Fall is Most Definitely here; the leaves are changing colors, the temperatures are cooling off, and we are having a grand time frolicking in the yard.  Mom says she's "too tired" to help us write a clever blog post, so just enjoy the pictures, and trust me when I say we are having fun, Abby is doing well (last round of chemo next week!), and all is good!

A Totally Pawsome Weekend!

We had a great weekend!  Not only did we have Mom for three whole days, but we got to do all sorts of funballs stuff, too.  There were the usual walkies and whatnot, but with the weather changing, we made sure Mom got to enjoy the crisp early mornings with some tennis ball action.

And, we got to see Jessi (the turkey hot-dog lady), who, sadly for us, will be moving back to Dela-where? in a few months, so we had to make sure we go in lots of quality time.

Abby also did some rehearsing for the Doodle Ballet.  The chemo and prednisone haven't slowed her down a bit.  (Well, okay a BIT, but not much! And we're hoping for a clean bill of health in a month!)

There was also Much Posing while Mom played with 'shallow depth of field' (whatever that is - although it seems to make Abby's snooter sort of fuzzy, which is something!).

See, her snooter is so big that if Mom wants Abby's eyes in focus with a big aperture, her snooter is fuzzy!

Yes, I am very contemplative!

But I'm not always contemplative!

I also took some time to be all dramatical!

 

Such a busy weekend left me quite sleepy!

In Which Our Mom Has All the Fun

Well, okay, that's not entirely true.  We've been having tons of fun, and here's photographic proof:

But why do I say Mom is having all the fun?  Well, last Friday she got to meet Princess Harlow and Bert and she got to see the Mom of our late, great friend Goose, too!  Mom, being Mom, brought along her camera and got all sorts of wonderful pictures of our friends!

Of course, Princess Harlow is a small Golden Retriever, but she has Royal Floof!

Mom said she had a great time meeting Princess Harlow's servant, Bert's Vickie and seeing Michelle again.  We don't doubt it, as there was clearly much bouncy excitement going on!

At first Princess Harlow wasn't sure that jumping fences was an approved activity for royalty, but apparently the Princess can make her own rules.

Mom says this is exactly why she has a weather-sealed camera!  Heehee!

PeeEss: Just a quick update on the Hippobottomus; she is now on chemo every other week for two months and she's doing really well.  I still haven't told her she's sick, so she's just bouncy crazy - as usual!
