A Totally Pawsome Weekend!

We had a great weekend!  Not only did we have Mom for three whole days, but we got to do all sorts of funballs stuff, too.  There were the usual walkies and whatnot, but with the weather changing, we made sure Mom got to enjoy the crisp early mornings with some tennis ball action.

And, we got to see Jessi (the turkey hot-dog lady), who, sadly for us, will be moving back to Dela-where? in a few months, so we had to make sure we go in lots of quality time.

Ahhh!  Ear rubs!

Blissful hug!

And, of course, there was Yet More Tennis Ball Action.

Throw the ball, lady!

I think my sister is a land shark!

Abby also did some rehearsing for the Doodle Ballet.  The chemo and prednisone haven't slowed her down a bit.  (Well, okay a BIT, but not much! And we're hoping for a clean bill of health in a month!)

There was also Much Posing while Mom played with 'shallow depth of field' (whatever that is - although it seems to make Abby's snooter sort of fuzzy, which is something!).

Here I am, being all contemplative.

Dorkadoodle in the early evening light.

See, her snooter is so big that if Mom wants Abby's eyes in focus with a big aperture, her snooter is fuzzy!

Yes, I am very contemplative!

But I'm not always contemplative!
I also took some time to be all dramatical!

Such a busy weekend left me quite sleepy!

We hope everyone had a great weekend, and has a great upcoming week!

In Which Our Mom Has All the Fun

Well, okay, that's not entirely true.  We've been having tons of fun, and here's photographic proof:

But why do I say Mom is having all the fun?  Well, last Friday she got to meet Princess Harlow and Bert and she got to see the Mom of our late, great friend Goose, too!  Mom, being Mom, brought along her camera and got all sorts of wonderful pictures of our friends!

Bert and Harlow

Bert isn't really as big as he looks - he's just super floofy!

Of course, Princess Harlow is a small Golden Retriever, but she has Royal Floof!
Mom said she had a great time meeting Princess Harlow's servant, Bert's Vickie and seeing Michelle again.  We don't doubt it, as there was clearly much bouncy excitement going on!

Holy Jaws of Doom, Bert!

At first Princess Harlow wasn't sure that jumping fences was an approved activity for royalty, but apparently the Princess can make her own rules.

Bert is a SERIOUS water hound!

Mom says this is exactly why she has a weather-sealed camera!  Heehee!
There was also a lot of posing going on!

Princess Harlow loved to schmooze!
And pose!

Did I mention that Princess Harlow is a top-notch poser?

So is Bert!

Mom had a great time, and even though we couldn't make it, we're really glad Mom could represent us to our bloggie friends!  If you want to see more pictures from Mom's grand adventure with Bert and Harlow, check out the photo album online.

And don't worry - we really are having fun!

Yep!  We are all having fun!

PeeEss: Just a quick update on the Hippobottomus; she is now on chemo every other week for two months and she's doing really well.  I still haven't told her she's sick, so she's just bouncy crazy - as usual!

A Most Pawsome Birthday Weekend

Sometimes, my Mom is a wise woman (other times, well.... I shan't speak ill at this time of the person who takes me to the Magic Cheeseburger Window); she decreed that rather than my birthday be celebrated for one day, it should be an entire weekend of celebrating.  Who am I to argue with that?

The highlight of Saturday's adventures was the aforementioned trip to the Magic Cheeseburger Window.  With all the windows rolled down, I was able to take full advantage of the olfactory experience!

*sniff*sniff*sniff*

I detect noms in my immediate future!

Why, yes, I do think there should be a cheeseburger for the sister of the birthday girl, too!
There was also much napping.

Yes, it is a wonderful life!

*zzzzzz*

Abby, being all dramatical!
Speaking of my sister, today there was Much Frisbee Action, and Abby seems to have suffered no ill effects after her first chemo treatment (she has 7 more to go before she is re-evaluated, so things might change, but I hope she stays totally healthy - and I'm not going to tell her she's anything other than 100% healthy!).

Zoom-zoom!

*sproing*

Wheee!
Of course, Abby isn't the only one who had frisbee funballs time this weekend!

I can safely say that Abby's current super-power remains being able to fly!

Yeah, um, that's totally unnatural!

Obviously she hasn't yet gained the super-power of catching the frisbee while flying through the air...
It was a most wonderful birthday weekend!

Oh, and my sister is still a doofus...  As if there was any doubt...

Hi!  What's up?  Heehee!
Have a great week!
